- Spoiler:
It was an orb filled with enchanted water that eternally spiraled around, hypnotizing anyone who looked at it.
The Undine made it for the goblins to use against humans, but since goblins are rather dumb a group of them ended up getting put into a trance instead of being able to properly use it.
Blissful closure~ Would of been fun, but I'm sure we can run into more objects like that ^__^

Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
With the help of Aqua's forces the party made their way back to the fort feeling victorious. Elphelt and Asia were sent down to see Yoko so they could get themselves cleaned off and returned to normal while Nephenee and Artoria went to get new clothes, Nephenee's old armor luckily still being here.
"I'm very impressed." Signum said, looking at Celtica. "I will admit that I worried greatly that you would not succeed. But you truly managed to defeat Jelle and free this region of her tyranny." she said with a proud smile. Celtica smiled back at her, the woman's diver armor off and her suit back on so her body wouldn't have to deal with that weight right now. "No matter how hard it is, I don't stop when I plan on doing something." the knight told her.
"So what's next for the knights here? Slimes have scattered to who knows where." Celtica asked. "Cleaning up any forces that still remain and rebuilding Gaolth mainly. The mercenaries will probably go off to other missions though, and there are still areas nearby under monster control. Up north is the forest where all those beast tribes fight for supremacy, and then to the east is Hades." Celtica had heard of the place before, it was a realm of darkness where the very land had been corrupted. Still, some humans lived there somehow. "I've been hearing reports that Evell Pass has been blocked by a dark knight stopping all entering into Hades from that route." Signum explained. "And then there's the Metal City with Queen Automata."
That name Celtica was less familiar with. "Queen Automata? Is that another Monster Queen?" Celtica asked, and the pink haired knight nodded. "Correct, a highly advanced golem. The main difference between her and the others though is that she broke off from the demons and targets monsters just as much as she does humans, protected in a huge city made of metal. It's down more to the Southeast of this place. I believe Jelle and her had even clashed a few times."
A Monster Queen that fought other monsters, that was a strange thought to Celtica. She would definitely need to be dealt with at some point, but the knight wondered if it would be better to leave her for later. "I'm going to go grab Asia and Elph from Yoko's place. I assume we can still rest here?" Celtica asked, and naturally Signum nodded.
The trip down to the dungeon felt more taxing than ever before despite how many times she had done it. Going into Yoko's room she saw a fully cleaned off Elphelt and Asia. "Cel! Look, all better now. No more vengeful mood swings." Elphelt said with a grin, walking over to Celtica and giving her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to help against Jelle. Her powers were too strong for me to resist." Asia said with the bow of someone looking for forgiveness. "Asia, it's fine. Nobody is going to blame you for getting manipulated by a Monster Queen." Celtica said, patting her on the head.
Yoko then got the suited woman's attention. "I have that holy water you brought me. I've managed to purify it and modify it into an elixir that should help you." she explained, giving the knight a somewhat large glass of a glistening blue fluid. "It can revert a woman who is in the early stages of a monster girl transformation." Celtica gladly took the potion with her, that sounded exceptionally useful. "Thank you. Oh, I hate to ask more but you could perhaps help clean up these slimy items we recovered?" Celtica asked. "For the woman who defeated Jelle? There's plenty I would do for you." Yoko said with a playful wink before taking the items.
When Celtica, Elphelt and Asia returned to their room they saw Bullet, Lina and Nephenee basically passed out along their beds. Artoria wasn't there, but she was likely talking with Signum at the moment. Elphelt yawned as she sat down on her bed. "What a day, we've totally become heroes! Ah, and I'm going to be the wife of a legendary hero!" she said with glee. "You do realize you helped too, right? This isn't my credit alone to take, we all took down Jelle together. If one of us is a hero then we all are." Celtica told her as she sat besides the pink haired girl and wondered what to do as she rested. There were a lot of paths open now, but which one would be best?
A. Plan on going to the Forest of Beasts to the north.
B. Plan on heading west to the Sacrima shoreline.
C. Plan on attempting to enter Hades to the east.
D. Plan on heading south to the desert.
E. Plan on going southeast and investigate this Metal City.

Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
Plenty of options on where to go, and I'm liking the sound of this Metal City, being a fan of robotifying and gynoids. :3
...that, and it's quite possible that Celtica could have a powerful ally on her side with this Queen Automata, if she plays things right with her. Something to consider, but I think we should probably hold off on dealing with her until later. Hades seems like it might be too much for the party right now, and I'd anticipate a great deal of demons and undead in that area, so it'd be better to get more gear that could counter such enemies before journeying into there. The forest with the beast clans sounds like a good place to start, but I kind of want to go to the shoreline or the desert (even if the desert might be too much for them at this time). I'll go with the shoreline, B.

I think we could use some time to go someplace that doesn't involve one of the other queens for now. Shoreline seems to be the best bet for that, so I'll also go with B.

Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
It's on the other side of Sacrima, but Celtica wanted to check out the shores of the country. She had heard about the problems on the sea, where monsters of the depths had made it impossible to reach the nearby islands and that corrupted pirates are all that sails now. If Celtica could do something to help, she wanted to. They could also make sure the previous places they visited were safe. "Hey Elph, how do you feel about a trip to the beach?" Celtica asked, her arms around the girl. "That's a silly question for someone already wearing a swimsuit~" Elphelt cheerfully replied. "Of course, silly me. I want to deal with the sea monsters over there, and hopefully help the human populated islands." Celtica told her.
"If we can beat a Monster Queen, then that seems pretty easy doesn't it?" Elphelt asked rhetorically, giving Celtica a kiss. As the two tired ladies drifted off into slumber, Celtica couldn't help but fantasize about a soaking wet Elphelt playing on a sunny beach, her glistening breasts bouncing as she ran across the sand...
The party slept for quite a while, everyone slowly getting up the next morning until a surprised noise came from Nephenee. "Everyone, come over and look at Lina!" she said. The party gathered to see Lina outside of her suit, only she had some differences. glowing orange markings adorned her body and face, and her eyes glowed with a burning power. "Oh hey when did this stuff happen? I feel better than ever though." Lina said, seeming to be pretty unworried by this. "Oh no, we're going to see Yoko right away." Bullet told her and they were off.
Celtica explained the situation to Yoko, who listened intently. "I see. I'm pretty sure I know what happened, and it isn't because of the suit I gave her. You mentioned that fire blade of hers was made by an Ignis, correct?" Yoko asked, and Celtica nodded. "Magical items created by elementals naturally have a part of their essence within them, if they are imbued with the same element that the elemental represents. So while your other blades are likely safe, an Ignis making a fire sword results in a corruptive weapon. I doubt she even realized what she was doing." Yoko explained.
"Ok, then what do we do? Just break the weapon or something?" Elphelt asked. "Well curing her now will be easy, she's only suffering some minor corruption effects. But yet, that weapon shouldn't be used anymore." Yoko explained. Asia then chimed in. "I can help, my Twilight Healing should be able to get rid of those effects." she said, using her healing magic on the mage. As she said, the markings and glowing eyes were fading.
"So I get the sword is corruptive and all, but we don't really need to get rid of it do we? It's so useful, and this warmth from it feels great! I can just have Asia heal me every time it gets bad. Come on, please?" Lina asked Celtica, she had grown to greatly enjoy the feeling of the blades heat washing over her body and warming her, not to mention arousing her a bit. She had a point about the healing, but the weapon was also dangerous...
A. Let Lina keep using the Wildfire Blade.
B. Get rid of the Wildfire Blade.

Lina does have plenty of weapons, but we can't possibly part that blade from her, it fits her so well.

Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
Celtica sighed. It would probably be better to get Lina away from the weapon, especially with the bizarre fondness she seems to have for it, but she relented. "Very well, but I'm having Asia check up on you regularly just in case. The last thing we need around here is an Ignis tossing Dragon Slaves everywhere." Celtica said, causing Lina to smile.
"Since you're here, I suppose you would like that gear back you wanted cleaned." Yoko said, giving Celtica and Lina the items back. "Hey, weren't there a lot of harpy sightings back where we met up? I wonder if we could land ourselves a pet~" Lina said, grinning as she spun the harpy collar around her finger. "We'll just have to wait and see for now. We should find Artoria, she may want to remain here with her teacher rather than join us." Celtica said.
"Not a chance." A familiar chipper voice rang out as Artoria came into the room. She had a brand new outfit that was highly reminiscent of Signum's clothes. "I am a knight in training no longer, Signum said that there wasn't anything else she could teach a Monster Queen slayer and promoted me!" Artoria told them. Celtica wondered if Signum also did so because she would know her apprentice would want to come with them. "In that case, welcome to the team Artoria. We're heading to the Sacrima shoreline and the islands nearby it." Celtica explained.
It looked like everyone was just about ready and Celtica wondered if there was anything else they should do before leaving.
A. Start heading out to the west.
B. Do something at the fort. (Write-In)

B. Should we maybe examine the items we got, like the fox statue and shield, or sell some old equipment to get some cash? Maybe drink some potions or leave some potions around? =)

B- Agreed with Rainday on examine and selling off any unusable equipment...or maybe have Yoko enchant them with sexy, evil...i mean protective enchantments. Maybe seduce/flirt with Yoko since she enjoys having Celtica visit
also heavily encourage to lewd check ups from Asia. Have her 'check up' with each girl on a regular basis

Can't Lina just put the collar on some one in the night to make them hers?
If not than lets go with Raindays idea.

Would make for a fun little bad end where Lina becomes their queen.
Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
It was a brand new day and this time they would know the routes they were going on. They had some time to spent at the fort before heading out. Yoko was right here as well and she was a great resource. "Say, could you take a closer look at some of these items. After that Ignis sword thing I don't want to take chances on them." Celtica said and Yoko nodded. "Of course." she said before going to work starting with the shield.
"Well this shield is simple enough, it possesses an ice affinity and has a mechanism to spin pretty quickly." the mage explained, showing it off by activating it and letting the party watch the wheel shield spin. A thought crossed Celtica's mind that adding a spiral to the shield could make it a rather effective hypnotism device, but she kept it to herself. "You sure that shield wasn't created by an ice elemental or a yuki-onna or something?" Bullet asked, and Yoko nodded. "Doesn't seem to be contaminated by monsters."
Following that up was the fox statue, a strange but well made little thing of a woman with a luscious fox tail. "This seems like just a normal statue to me though. If I had to guess, there were some Tamamo worshipers in Gaolth before the slime attack." Yoko said, spinning the statue around. "Tamamo?" Asia wondered out loud. "She's a fox woman, and a Monster Queen at that. She decreed that humans who worshiped her and her race would be protected by her kitsune and as a result a religion around her formed even in large human settlements. They avoid turning into monsters by becoming her slaves, not a great deal if you ask me." Yoko explained with a shrug.
"I reckon that some humans have given up ever beating the monsters, and would rather that than the alternative." Nephenee said. "We'll show them that there's hope, and that there's no need to worship a false goddess." Celtica said in response. Lina then brought her items up. "Mine next please." she said and Yoko obliged.
"This collar binds harpies to the owner's will, turning them into obedient pets. Though I wonder what it's limits are. Could it perhaps work on other bird-like monsters as well like tengu? It would be an interesting experiment to be sure, I would much rather have a lovely tengu woman at my beck and call." Yoko said with a laugh, although Celtica could tell she was at least partly serious.
"And then this sword?" Lina asked, pointing at the katana. "It's probably the most straightforward of them all. A blade enhanced to slice better via wind magic enchantment. It's quite well made as well, the enchantment that is. I do wonder who created this." Yoko said, continuing to study it for a little while longer.
There was something else that Celtica had gotten in Gaolth, or a set of somethings. The potions from that slime witch, their effects still an enigma to the knight. Perhaps giving one to Yoko for studying could be worthwhile. She's been such a big help anyways, she could use a reward.
A. Give Yoko one of the slime potions (If so, which one).
B. Don't give Yoko a slime potion, it's too risky.

Unfortunately this particular collar does not work on normal humans.

Awesome~ A tengu would be pretty awesome =) I'm looking forward to this Tamamo statue as well, and glad Celtica has such interesting desires when she saw that shield =)

I think that giving a potion we "already" used would make most sense.
So I will go with Gold and/or black.

Re: World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)
"There's actually one more thing, I would like to give you something." Celtica said as she put the jet black slime potion on the table. "We got this from a slime woman but we don't have any idea what it does. I figure you could get more use out of it than us." Celtica said. She had wanted to give something to the woman, especially since Yoko gave them all that stuff for free.
"Interesting. This does seem like something I would enjoy experimenting with, thanks." Yoko said with a smile as she took the potion and put it away for later. "Don't be a stranger, you know that we will be glad to have you here again anytime." the mage said with a smile, it seemed like she had become rather fond of Celtica. "Oh, of course." Celtica said with a blush, distracted slightly by the woman before a throat clear from Elphelt got her focused again.
That was all the stuff they had gotten that Celtica wanted to show to Yoko. There was still that crystal that came from Jelle, but probably best to keep that for the moment. If people here knew that they had what remained of the Slime Queen then they would probably want it destroyed as a precaution. Celtica on the other hand desired to use it, though she wasn't quite sure how yet.

Well, the next time you see Yoko is going to be fun.
A. Start heading out to the west.
