World of Monsters CYOA (Part I)

Following Rainday's lead on this. E. :3

Wow, good thing we didn't vote to join Bullet at the hot springs the previous night! ...yeah, like anyone would have wanted to hop out of the Celtiphelt train.

Hmm... attacking with all four from afar leaves us open to being attacked by the entranced Bullet, while snapping Bullet out of it leave the undine free to make another go at "purifying" the party. Decisions, decisions...

Ah, screw it. C.

Here's the thing with E-

I'm pretty sure the only plot-critical character here is Celtica. If she's taken down and corrupted, game over. There's nothing saying other characters won't end up in a permanent loss state that doesn't end the story. If we flee, I'm going to guess that Bullet will definitely be turned into a Water Spirit slave of some sort, which will end up making the fight "harder," but not so impossible as to stop the adventure, though it could very well be impossible to save her after that.

I would think we all want to see the best good end, and bad ends that stop the adventure; not so much good ends with too many sacrifices.

Of course, I could be 100% off base with everything I just said, and maybe I'm just overthinking everything. After all, a lot of us are literally trying to lose, since we have the benefit of a reset button.

Anyways, I'm going to vote B.

You are right that party members can be lost without a game over, as only a bad end for Celtica will actually require a reset. It just depends on the enemy targeting them whether or not the party member will merely brainwashed and thus savable, or if they will be converted into a monster which is irreversible.

Hmm, I was wondering about that, and by no means do I want to lose Bullet, especially in that sexy ninja outfit of hers...  So I'll default to C in that case, try to snap Bullet out of it.  She shouldn't be too far gone unless the Undine had a private session with her while she was alone.

Oh uh... If we do lose a party member and they are converted, will we have to kill them in that case? =(

On another note, it would be interesting if converted party members formed a party of their own to take us down.


(Also, hope for a chance to get whatever the goblins were staring at after the defeat of the slime Queen.)

The battle arena put the party at a disadvantage, if they weren't careful they could be tossed into the corrupted hot springs and fall under the Undine's sway. Elphelt pulled out her sniper rifle and began firing at the Undine and reloading, doing her best to not hit the nearby Nephenee. "You foolish children, you simply don't know what's best for yourselves. Come dearest Nephenee, fight for your goddess." she said and in an instant Nephenee got up and grabbed her spear once more. "None shall harm you, goddess!" she shouted and charged forward.

Celtica and Nephenee began to duel, the paladin deciding to keep her off the others while they struck from afar since she was low on magical energy. "Let's see how you like being all dried up! Fireball!" Lina shouted to release another burst of flames the monster's way. She summoned tentacles of water to protect herself but they were turned to steam and she took a bit of damage.

The sniping and flames had done some damage to her, and burned her clothing off in the process, but she was still standing. "How utterly annoying. You, serve your queen and drag them into the depths of delight." she said, looking at Bullet and firing off a water bubble at her. She couldn't dodge in her state and no one else was in a position to move her, resulting in the bubble blasting her face directly and bringing her further under the waves of pleasure with a loud moan and some wet panties. "A-Aaaah...yes...my goddess!" she said as she went over to Asia and grabbed her. "Bullet no, snap out of it!" Asia pleaded as she struggled to escape the woman's grip. It looked like she was trying to dive into the hot springs with Asia in tow.

"Out of the way!" Celtica shouted as she used a strong slam to force Nephenee back. She had a chance to do something while Nephenee was recovering, but she had to decide now.

A. Try and stop Bullet.
B. Charge the Undine with Nephenee out of the way.
C. Fire off a Crusader Wave.
D. Use the last of your magical energy for a Divine Romancer with Elphelt.

Also yeah, it a party member was converted into a monster the most likely outcomes would either be them escaping or the party being forced to kill them. It's sad, but that's just how it is.

Going with A.

D. Let's end this quickly! Destroy the false goddess with the power of purest love!

B, I feel that will net us our sexy bad end for Undine!

but can't imagine what might lead to itThoguht B might have the highest potential to become slave of our new goddess!

Hmm... I think I'll have to agree that "if there is a bad ending in this selection," then B would be the way to go.

I'll add my vote to B.

Well, B puts us into close range with her while the other two keep us away, and what we've been doing is trying to stay far away which has been working(for better or worse).  Our rushing in can't work every time right? I feel A would just prolong and if it fails there go Bullet and Asia.

The suit wearing knight saw her chance, Nephenee was knocked off balance and Bullet was busy with Asia. A strong decisive blow from a holy sword could be just what was needed to bring this monster down. With a strong step she began her charge with her blade at the ready, pointed towards the smiling monster.

A few more steps forward and suddenly Celtica found herself tripping despite the Undine not moving. Now too late she could see water tentacles had stricken her feet from below. Of course she would have been able to make more after the ones destroyed by Lina, there was water everywhere. A trip wasn't all the tentacles did though as more appeared from behind the Undine and wrapped around Celtica's limbs, forcing her to drop her blade. "Cel!" Elphelt shouted and began firing at the Undine, but had to stop when she moved Celtica in the way of her range. "Now now, no need to be upset. I won't harm your companion. She just needs to be educated a little."

Elphelt and Lina wanted to do something, but Nephenee was soon enough back up and blocking their path. To make matters worse, the sound of splashing water made it apparent that Bullet had dragged Asia into the hot springs. Seeing this the Undine brought a tentacle down into the water and caused it to pulse with her magical energy.

Submerged in the now glowing water, Asia felt a bliss unlike anything she had experienced before. Bullet too was loving the sensation, her desires towards her goddess now turned into firm conviction. And indeed, in Asia's head her worship to the Goddess of Light was now vanishing as her head flooded with the idea of worshiping someone new. Someone better, sexier, far superior than any other goddess. A perfect goddess who need to be served. The priestesses eyes turned a deep blue as she converted into a priestess for the Undine and came.

When the two's heads appeared from outside the water, they had such lustful faces and blank eyes. "Goddess, we serve you." they said, basking in the holy waters of their false deity. "This is very, very bad." Elphelt said as she swerved to avoid a spear thrust, Lina slashing Nephenee back with flames. "Tell me about it."

Celtica had gotten to see it too, but her eyes were now focused on the water tentacles approaching her head. "You see? Such good, devoted women. I think a stubborn girl like you requires a more direct approach however." the Undine said before sending the tentacles into Celtica's ears and directly into the girl's brain. The knight would feel the effects instantly as the Undine's brainwashing water flooded her mind quite literally, more tentacles appearing to slide through her pants and into her pussy to further stimulate her. It felt mind meltingly amazing, despite her best efforts to resist she climaxed within seconds of her pussy being invaded.

It was like the tentacles were in there molding her brain like clay, remaking it how the Undine desired. No, Celtica could only think of her as a goddess. A goddess of water, of beauty, of all. "Goddess...oooooh...goddessssss~" the girl moaned out, causing a soft giggle to come from the monster. "And let's add some finishing touches." she said, moving close and giving the girl a nice long kiss. Though not a tentacle, the way her tongue moved it might as well have been one with how aroused it was making Celtica. Her very essence had been flooded by her goddess, nothing could make her happier.

"Cel...no..." Elphelt said in shock as the Undine removed the tentacles and set her down. Celtica turned around to reveal deep blue blank eyes, but even beyond that her lips were stained a lovely blue, deep blue eye shadow and wavy blue markings had appeared on her face. "This is the fate that awaits those that I personal deal with. Doesn't she look lovely?"

By now Asia and Bullet had finally gotten out of the water and stood beside Celtica. "Don't worry Elph, I feel better than ever. You haven't tried the springs yet, have you? Come on and join me in them, they feel amazing. Then you'll understand our goddess's perfection too~" Celtica said in a lewd tone as the newly brainwashed trio walked towards the remaining party. It was only a matter of time now before Elphelt and Lina fell to the Undine's worshipers and began singing her praises as well...

BAD END - Undine.

Yeah, so the Undine revealing her water tentacle abilities was supposed to be the red flag that getting close would be a bad idea. But I think people figured that out, seeing as they were gunning for a bad end here.

Oh yes, and of course now it's time to decide when to go back to, whether it be the previous choice or one beforehand. I personally think the previous choice is a fine one to return to.

Dang, that's one hot bad end.

Okay, back to the last choice screen, and this time we show the false goddess what pure love feels like (when shot as a Dual Tech).

Ahhhhhhhhhhh~ So very very worth it =) Lovely description of everyone's fall, and nice touch of makeup at the end for Celtica ^__^

Well, we do have enough MP for Divine Romancer, so D works. (and with that, good night folks)

The make up was a very sexy touch. :3

Guess I'll follow in everyone's stead and pick D. A super move to settle the matter should be good.

Could we just say, let's go to the cave and take the jewels with us?

Guys, I hate to say it, but you may have just killed Bullet. While she is somewhat occupied, she's not in a disadvantageous position that she can't change priority, drop Asia, and shield Undine. Divine Romancer will still kill Undine, that I am certain of. Crusader Wave she'd block it at the cost of her life, no harm to Undine.

I will (meaninglessly) vote A, because we should not be using finishing moves while there are brainwashed comrades unrestrained.

This was bad, Nephenee would only be out of the way for a short while and Bullet was dragging Asia away. But this was a big chance to strike at the Undine, if they could take her down in one decisive blow then it wouldn't matter what Bullet was doing. "Elph, we're gonna need to go all out with this one!" Celtica said as she turned her blade forward and got into her pose.

"Right! Let's save everyone with one shot!" Elphelt shouted and pulled out her laser cannon. "You fools cannot defeat a goddess, give up and accept your place at my feet!" the Undine shouted as she formed a spiraling field of water in front of her to defend her and try and daze the duo. Lina was on point with a fireball to blow it away instantly though. "Not a chance!"

"Divine Romancer!" Celtica and Elphelt then shouted, the way clear for them to strike. The rays of light shot out and swirled around like they were dancing with each other, then turned into a huge beam that consumed the Undine. A scream of pain echoed out as she disappeared from view and vanished completely into the light, Elphelt and Celtica doing their poses before giving each other a kiss. "Perfect shot Elph." Celtica said with a smile.

With the Undine dead, Bullet suddenly snapped back to her senses and saw herself with a struggling Asia in her arms right next to the hot springs. "Uh, what?" she asked as she let go and dropped the priestess. "Bullet! You're back!" she said cheerfully.

"Gosh, I can't believe I let myself be controlled by a monster. I'm sorry everyone." Nephenee said as she slowly got up. "You can't blame yourself. If it wasn't for Elph I might have been the same way." Celtica said, giving the guard a hand. "But the remaining goblins have no reason to attack the village now, and would probably be too terrified to regardless. This place will be safe."

Lina looked over at the water. "Yeah, but even though the Undine's gone the water is still polluted with monster energy. I'm not sure exactly what effects that would have without her around, but it would probably be best to close them down until they can get properly purified." she explained.

"Good idea, I'll tell the staff. I'm just glad things have settled down." Nephenee said. "And like I said before, with that problem gone I'll be able to join y'all." she added.

A. Waste no time and get ready to leave the village.
B. Rest there for a while, that fight was exhausting.
C. Make a detour and return to that goblin base.

Luckily, Bullet only really got three doses of the Undine's power. As a result, she was more of a puppet doing whatever the Undine says than someone like Nephenee who as someone that lived in the village used the springs many more times and was a more autonomous servant. Combine that with the Undine believing she would use her hypnotizing water field to deal with the attack and thus didn't order Bullet, and our party member is safe.

Also a certain item in Celtica's inventory has changed it's description a little.

Okay, so Celtica and Elphelt have 1MP between them, so we should probably rest up a bit.

Actually, zero for Celtica. Two Divine Romancers and a Crusader Wave burned through all of it.

Sup, just saw this and it's absolutely awesome so far. Anyways, B is probably the best idea at this point, so I'm going with that.

Also, dropping my two cents on the ring situation, I'd have to guess the blood ring is king of like a "master" ring while the other 4 are "slave" rings. Since we have the blood ring, I suggest we think VERY carefully about if we are gonna give the other 4 since the reset only happens when we get enslaved. Still, this is just speculation. Take it with a grain of salt.
