What game are you playing/looking towards?

This is the full list of suits in the game at launch. It's missing an utterly massive amount at launch. The Gouf, Epyon, God and Master, Hyaku Shiki, so many suits aren't included at launch. It's so depressing because I was so hyped for this even with the gameplay mechanics looking a bit downgraded but with only 11 new suits at launch I will just have less options than going back to 3.

Pre-ordered Spyro: Reignited (I'm a huge fan of the PS1 Spyro games, even more than Crash), and I've gotten Until Dawn because it's how you do these kind of games, DAVID CAGE.

Probably going to pre-order Dragon Quest XI as well.

Damn. Had me especially worried. I had to check that out to see if the ones I wanted the parts for the most were in. Rising was; Destiny was not (but is confirmed for later release, and those will be FREE, mind you *glaring at Gundam Versus*).

No point in the "At the Seams" edition, unless you want to spend $30 on lame looking straps.

Is that just a remaster of Burst? Because if so, I'll probably pass. *shrugs*

Tried checking for new sales on PSN. There's Okami HD, which I'll admit I'm a bit interested in getting, but it's not a must have. And the Shantae: Half-Genie Hero DLC are discounted, but not the game itself(?!). Nothing really jumping out at me this week...

I haven't played Burst. I'll need to see a gameplay video of Re:Newal to decide whether I want to give it a shot or not. Took a second look at the deals because I AM THAT BORED. I guess I'd be alright picking up Tokyo Xanadu EX+; they did get a bit "memey" with some of the script, but there's no way AKSYS's handling of it could possibly be considered as bad as NISA's handling of YS VIII.

Holy crap. Cross Tag Battle BOMBED HARD in Japan. Just barely made over HALF of the release day sales Central Fiction did.

Cautious optimism. Very cautious, because they outright stated they'd tone down the sexuality (and part of me just wishes they're just trying to keep the press off their asses). I personally have my own set of conditions at this point as to whether I buy this game, and those of you that know me well enough can probably guess it.

That said, I do actually like Kasumi's new suit.

They also said they were toning it down for DoA5 and look how that turned out. The defaults might be more toned down to avoid running into problems like Cammy and Mika's defaults being banned in certain SF5 tournaments (seriously) but I'm sure there will still be plenty of fanservice.

So I also got Xenoblade 2 and a Switch but literally who cares about that new Kingdom Hearts trailer and after years of thinking of the idea I can't believe it actually happened.

Oh boy, here we go.

DMC5: FIRE THAT ART DIRECTOR. However, at the very least, the general atmosphere of things does feel appropriate.
Sekiro: FromSoftware is copying the game that copied them (Nioh), and adding a grappling hook.
Tales of Vesperia: Holy crap, the PS3 Version in English will really be a thing.

Kingdom Hearts: I'm sorry, but I can't be optimistic about the game with as long as its taken. Look at what happened to FFXV. You can't take that long to make a game and expect everything to turn out okay. That said... Possession, or Truly Fallen?

It could be that being in the Realm of Darkness just corrupted her (That's an in universe thing, and what the Oragnization coats are used to prevent), but I'm assuming it's her getting norted like the others. Larxene is norted too, she has the gold eyes, she just hasn't reached the tan skin and white hair phase yet. I'm super optimistic on the game though, the stuff they showed last month looked like a real ass game and even the recent delay was pretty minor. As long it it is a complete game it will certainly turn out better than 15.

DMC5 and Sekiro were also pretty hype. I don't mind Nero's redesign too much and old man Dante is fun, but I feel like the enemy designs are eh. Combat still looks great though.

I remain cautiously optimistic about KH. My guess is either Fallen or Evil Clone (a third option I heard in a Discord server). I don't think they'd go with Possession because that means killing Aqua off, and I doubt they'd do that. People like Aqua too much. They brought Marluxia back, after all.

On the other, selfish, terrible hand, I'm going to go write some corrupted-Aqua/Kairi stuff now, and it probably kills off the Perfect, Stoic Team Mom Aqua interpretation, the Aqua who's too strong to fall to Darkness because she's just That Awesome

The main thing I'm wondering is where Ansem the Wise went, last time we saw him he was with Aqua. Clearly we don't have all the information with what's going on with Aqua, but regardless of the cause I'm extremely excited for evil tanned silver haired Aqua.

Oh yeah also every single character from the past games are back.

Kingdom Hearts 3 release date has finally been announced too. Disney has also been nice enough to use Frozen and Big Hero 6 as some of the worlds. The inclusion of Big Hero 6 means they might be include other Marvel properties at some point in the future. I'm curious about some of the trailer content though.

A reminder for some PS freebies:

-In an E3 special, CoD:BlackOps3 is free to PS+ members (Modern Warfare was the only one I ever really cared about, but I'll probably give it a shot if it's free)
-Demos are out for Shining Resonance: Refrain and Zone of the Enders: MVRS (if I had PSVR, I'd totally try the latter out).

Some more Sony-related news:

Playstation Network is having an E3 sale on its notable titles from past E3 presentations. Games like RE7 and MGS5 have been discounted to up to 60%, including some really good bundles. Got MGS5 Ground Zeroes+Phantom Pain and Nioh: Complete Edition for a total of $40.

Also, the big showcases from Sony's 2018 E3 that will be available in the next nine months have been made available for preorder. KH3 especially, and there's a KH3 bundle that has all the Remix games and KH3 in it for $100. Includes 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8.

Aside from that, I'm thinking about preordering DQ11 alongside KH3, but that probably won't be until my next paycheck next Friday.

I held off on ordering New Gundam Breaker. That's certainly paying off, it's getting DEMOLISHED when it comes to popular opinion. No one has anything bad to say about the customization, but apparently the gameplay is THAT awful. So June games, I'm 0/2 when it comes to what I was looking forward to.

Also, I almost have to question if I actually spent over eight hours today reading through MuvLuv Alternative. I once gave it an untranslated look-through back when I was in college, mostly just to see the girls in their Type-99 Fortified Suits, but goddamn, actually reading through the stuff in English, this thing takes a looooong time to get through.

Preordered KH3, but didn't get the collection edition. Most I would want is 2.8 and 2.5, but I can't get the latter without 1.5, which I've played as much as I wanted to.

Also got Divinity: Original Sin Expanded Edition on PSN for $10 due to a flash sale. Going to hold off on any more game purchases. As for stuff I'm currently playing...I'm playing Meltys' Quest off of Steam with the nudity patch. XD

You know, I'm pretty sure I've heard mostly genuine praise for that game. I'll pick that up as well, especially when it's that price.

Unfortunately, that's not the voice of Hynden Walch. Between that and some other casting, I am very close to saying "This is a game I could probably go all-in on Japanese voices without too much regret."
... Of course, it also helps that Talim is voiced by Yukari Tamura in Japanese.

Anyways, I got Project Diva Future Tone. That game is super fun, I really like rhythm games. Also reminded me that I really like Luka. Miku/Luka duets are top tier stuff.

Well, I wasn't too excited about the game, but I think there's some fans of this character here-



Meantime, I'm still bitter about no Prishe comeback, despite my feelings about the game in the first place.
