Yeah, I've come across one at least a half dozen times, and I've also only encountered Nimbus 3 times.
Also- I'm putting most of my good stuff on Firion for the time being, as Primal Ifrit takes a hit from Beast Killer, and so 6* Max Firion with 2* Esper Ifrit will get a 150% increase in damage.

I think I may call it quits in this game, I feel like it's too much of an unbalanced drag a bit. Especially with collecting Lapis, events and banners don't supply any extra.
Prob going to save the space on my phone and just focus on Record Keeper instead.

Sorry to hear that, but even I've gotta say it's a matter of taste. I was on Record Keeper for a while, but it didn't appeal to me nearly as much as this did. Good luck to you.
Day 5 of the Lord of Inferno- I've drawn Shtola! No need to worry myself about being able to get her, even though it was pretty much guaranteed at the rate I've been getting points. Now I just have to see about getting enough for that Trust Moogle at the end.
This weekend: THE THUNDER GOD ARRIVES. Literally the most broken character when geared correctly and teamed up with another just like him. And if you don't have Excalibur? Just get the Durandal from this event! Decent-damage Greatsword (mid-70's) with Light element. The rest of the characters for this Tactics event I hear aren't all that good. Soleil might look lovely, but she doesn't hold up against characters like Ling at this point.
Also, I can't believe they actually made this Minfilia's victory pose.

... I just decided to pull on the daily for the hell of it...
I JUST GOT OLIVE TOO!!! (Finally, an awesome female attacker! Sure, I'd personally prefer Dark Fina, but I'll certainly take this adorable cannoneer too)
Also: Cactuar Dunes are the best for EXP again. Looks like not only did they take out the regular cactuars, they make it so that each wave can spawn up to 3 Metal Cactuars/Gigantuars. That's minimum 50k EXP, maximum 270k.

Everything except Lord of Inferno ELT, you mean. >_>
That takes A LOT of Fire resistance shit that even I don't have enough stacked up on.
It's just too bad that I had JUST used 34% worth of Trust Moogles on other characters, only A DAY before I summoned Olive. Her build heavily relies on Sparky, her TMR. Thankfully, I should still be getting another 35% worth within the next week (the 10%s from both events, the 10% from monthly arena, and the 5% at the end of the month's daily logins). I'll probably end up running either my second pair of Hayates alongside her or the new pair of Lawrences. I already have my first Black Cowl on her, but that means I might really want the other now for one of my other guys, and Lawrence's MonsterBP is best armor she can use, probably even better than Amelia's Maid Apron (in the future).
And my FFT party? Given that I use an Orlandeau friend, I'm going in with a 450% bonus party. My Orlandeau, 2 Soleils, 2 Lawrences, and friend Orlandeau.
Update: OH FUCK ME!!!!!
... I just got a third rainbow crystal within FOUR SUMMONS.
It's Ramza. Not too excited until his enhancements as far as his style goes, but he also has the best light armor for non-doublehanders.

Three rainbows in four crystals, that's pretty awesome.
Cerius could be useful with Bar-firaga for the LofI ELT. If only I had someone to do damage to him

Well, technically, all three of them were Gold crystals that transformed. And on that note, the fourth was also a gold (my second Soleil).

Hey, so I noticed in the unit menu tou can cycle through the various animations of each unit. Soleil has a 'Dance' animation in addition to the usual. I checked Ling, Ariana and a couple of other 'dancer' types, but none of them list one.
Has anyone else seen any unique animations on some units?
(Gotta say, Soliel's victory animation is the cutest thing ever.)

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Just took a look. Seems like someone decided to loop the hoop claps at the beginning of her Limit Burst animation.
Anyways, I just got my 3rd Dual Wield, and less than 1% away from Soluna Ring. Olive is on the TMR farming team now, and once I get that ring, I'll have a new pair of Hayates in there to get another Black Cowl.

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Easter event details:
A DUAL WIELD SOURCE. Here's the catch-
It's a 5 ATK knife. You won't be getting higher ATK values out of it, but it will give you the extraordinary effect of dual acting (physical/hybrid abilities only). I don't need it for main stuff, but it would definitely come in handy for a lesser character I might use in the Arena (Chizuru).
A poor man's Ruler Ring for Heavy Armor users only.
Holy crap the MAG on that sword from the 5* character! Best Exdeath weapon for sure, especially if you start stacking Letters and Arms on him.
Also, I think this event might be running Mogcake-style, if you remember how that went.
Oh, and I think they also hinted at the crystals needed for Ability Awakening. Ramza might not be on the bench for as long as I thought.

As someone who has put very little time into TM farming that knife looks great.... except that Elza can't wield it
I do have 4 Chizuryu now, so I guess if I levelled them some Phanotm Shadow chaining with a fin Briar finsher could be do-able.

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Okay, here we go:
Metal Eggs are like Ifrit Tokens, used for summoning. You can get different colored eggs, megacite, and token units. Those units can be Metal Gigantuars, Gil Snappers, Burst Pots, or Trust Moogles specifically for the Egg Seekers units. I can see Aiden's robe being desirable, not so sure about Xon's teddy bear (when I'm already using Champion Belts and Bracers), and GOOD LUCK getting Fryevia.
All of the special items are crafting recipes, though two of them require one-of-a-kind materials (Second Knife being one of them, sorry).

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
How's the egg farming going? Know where the best place is?
I'm almost done with the stuff needed for Second Knife (and I'd say over half of my NRG lately has been towards TMR-running rather than egg hunting).... I might skip Cold Snap, as it'll just get replaced sooner or later by a Ruler Ring (which isn't limited), and probably start saving metal eggs for whatever they're deciding to run with on Week 2 of the event (Ability Awakening?).
- Spoiler:
- Mysidia Region
Fina's Psyche, Frontlines: "Power on Power"
2 bosses in the fight (and yeah, even story bosses are getting pretty powerful), and if lucky, you could get around 5k metal eggs in a single 9 NRG run.

Got a Second knife for Chiz, and Cold snap, one radiant egg away from Icy veins.
Looking forward to the enhancements for Seven (Multi target Osmoselash in the arena )

Yep, perfect way to shut down your opponents. I actually have drawn a Seven myself at this point, may consider building her up for AOE Osmoselash for Arena (but not much else).
Also, in a very risky move (which I failed twice), I went after Dark Ifrit and Dark Siren. Apparently, if you can get them to be strong enough, 2 optimal Orlandeaus can one-shot Dark Ifrit with a perfect chain of Divine Ruination. What really scared the hell out of me was that I didn't even come close to one-shotting Dark Siren right after that, but somehow, the only thing she did after my first attack against her was heal and buff.
Anyways, I won after three attempts (120 NRG -.-). Got Ifrit's Claw (Gaffgarion's Bracer with Fire Resist), Siren's Robe (I'm not sure if it's better than Lordly Robe or not), and Longsword Mastery (50% boost to ATK for longsword use!). Orlandeau officially joins the 900+ club (some of the guys on my list are above 1000 now. >_>), and I still have some Quick Assaults coming up from 2 Shines in my TMR lineup.

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Okay, didn't pass on Cold Snap after all, since Ruler Ring farming takes way too much energy anyways (I'll keep working towards more, but at a slow pace).
I maxed out Cecil's Limit Burst a while back, and have now been putting Burst Pots into Olive's Limit Burst; it's stronger than her True Shot attack (when there's only one target anyways), and she gains Limit Gauge like crazy (So does Orlandeau for that matter, but his Limit Burst isn't that good). Olive's at 80% Trust, and it's sounding like the next event is FFVI: The Floating Continent. It's a Mog King Collection event, where we'll be farming Fish (FUCK YOU, GUMI!!! T-T), and I think it might be a two-week thing, with the second week introducing a limited Trial Boss (Kefka). It looks like there's oppotunity for 25% value in Trust Moogles for this event: 15% from Mog King (a 10% and 5 1%s again) and 10% from Kefka (2 5%s, one from clearing, another from a special mission).
And as for the return of the Dangerous Woman Tour, I quickly did the new mission. Twice actually, since I didn't take a serious group in the first time (barely won, didn't get all the missions done). I'm surprised they gave me a new Ariana, but I just immediately fused her into the first. The new ability is great for her, though only average for anyone else you'd put it on, since only she gets Dualcast from it.

This cannot come soon enough.
And I guess we have confirmation on the Floating Continent now. I don't see any decent equipment on the Mog King's list, so I'll probably just get the usual tickets/quartz/awakening materials, maybe the 10% Moogle too (I already have three 50% Bonus units in my roster as it is). I think I might use my 4*+ Ticket on this banner too and see if I can get Setzer. His TMR makes him incredibly broken under the right conditions, though those conditions also involve two Edgars (for Multiple Targets, or Orlandeaus if it's a single target). By broken, I mean ONE-SHOTTING TRIAL BOSSES broken. Gilgamesh? One shot. Dark Espers? One shot. Though I guess that within Setzer's nature, it's still a gamble. Trying that strategy could end up failing miserably due to the gambling nature of the particular move that'll do so much damage.
Also, Trial Boss Kefka does have a decent Robe, but I think you have to evoke both Carbuncle and Diabolos in the fight to get it. I'm not sure how easy it'll be to get Summon Orbs, but the battle itself should hopefully be easy enough for me. He changes elemental weaknesses every turn. All elements other than his current weakness are at 200%. His weak element is -6000%. I just have to wait for his weakness to be Holy.

Whoo, floating continent. C'mon Setzer and Trance Terra (I'm due a 5* base, surely)
Managed to beat the Ariana event on the new dificulty (a big step up from the last one).
Only just managed to win the "no abilities' one, was down to Refia and Elza for most of it.

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Gold Crystals have failed me. I've seen 4 already, but no Setzer.
EDIT: 5. Still no Setzer.
UPDATE: I think I'm done using tickets on this banner, sticking to just daily draws now.
Got Sparky! And I now have a character that breaks the 1000 ATK threshold (but she's a Doublehander, so there is a point where Dual Wielders are considered stronger while having less ATK). Going to replace her with Ramza in the TMR group, then start filling in with Lawrence as I get some of my others finished (Black Cowl #2, and Quick Assault).

Wow. What's going on with this banner?
Dropped all my tickets and most Lapis on it...
No TT (Dissapointing, but not unexpected)
No Setzer (despite 4 gold crystals)
Not even a Gau ....
Not a single banner unit
Blech...

Re: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius
Bad for you as well huh?
Well, I did get two Gaus and a Terra. Not doing me that much good though.
Anyways, Trial Kefka is NO JOKE. His damage is quite high, and in particular, the phase where he becomes the most vulnerable to my best attacks is also the point in which I'M ALSO VERY VULNERABLE. His Darkness phase uses Graviga, and if you don't have a good way to defend against that, that's 75% of everyone's health gone, and that's before he throws out 4-5 single target attacks.
I did beat him, though I forgot to use an item. So all I have is the Trust Moogles. Getting that robe will be the real bitch, as it's near goddamn impossible to get Summoning Orbs and Limit Crystals, as you actually have to do damage for an attack to produce them.
I'm going through Mysidia Part 2 right now to see about getting to the next Fat Chocobo shop. I hear there's a very useful accessory in this one: Safety Bit. It defends against Death (and I believe said resistance also applies to Gravity), which will give me a great shot at completing Trial Gilgamesh with only 5 units.
Oh, and I have now completed two Quick Assaults. I decided to put them both on Noctis and give Power of Creation to Orlandeau. With the Kiyomori equipped, Noctis should now have 50% physical/hybrid damage evasion chance.
UPDATE (Tuesday): I did it! I cleared all the missions against Kefka! THAT wasn't easy! I had to take off all of the elemental weapons I had (a real bummer for Orlandeau). Made up for it by taking along a Setzer companion with decent HP, his Double Dice is awesome for that fight if you can't use an elemental focus for the fight (I couldn't use Excaliburs or else I wouldn't be able to do damage and earn summoning orbs except for Light Weakness; that's not feasible). I think it took 2 1/2 elemental cycles, but I was eventually able to evoke both Diabolos and Carbuncle, then I let him have it with Double Dice (doesn't always do high damage, but when it does, it's a good chunk). It was only by coincidence that I was using a Limit Burst on the deathblow too. Item usage was covered by MP-restoratives, though I hear that one of the best ways to beat him is Void Vessel x5 when he's weak to darkness; the fixed 2000 dark damage is multiplied, and suddenly you're doing 120,000 per vessel (he only has 700,000).
Also, there's probably going to be a lot of hype in this next event for Aileen. I'm not sure if she's considered better than Orlandeau or not, but she's definitely considered the Orlandeau of Earth (especially when you get her TMR spear). She does have a good Limit Burst unlike Orlandeau though, and one of her abilities increases her gauge intake.
