Fate/Grand Order

So it's not a Grand Order thing, but somewhat related is that for Fate/Extella they revealed a new alternate costume for Attila. Probably a fanservicy joke on how Attila was known as the scourge of god but I'm certainly not complaining.

But yeah, additional recent info, heroes are going to be in groups(with Artoria being independent), though it is curious that Nero only has two other party members instead of every other group has 3 additional party members... One more heroine perhaps? Also, ISKANDER!

Very very nice, she's so cute~! That second pic just makes me want to scream "backfire" as she is enthralled by Jeanne Alter's evil gaze, hehehe.  Nice vid too.

Nitocris is quite the beauty, I'll have to check the wiki to see if she's got any relevant bits to her, besides her obvious glamour, hehehe.

Wow Lancer Artoria, she seems like a nobler, more confident Saber.  With such a body she probably didn't have any "issues" of having to pretend being a boy.

You might recognize that artstyle from Type-Moon's recent April Fools event, or from some cute Idol M@ster videos and pics, but yeah, it's quite funny and there is actually some yuri in it =)

So it also seems like there might be some relevant stuff in Camelot beyond designs. The big villain of the chapter is Lancer Artoria and her knights, but the version you can get and the version that shows up in the story are actually different. The Lancer Artoria you can get is basically normal Artoria, but holding onto the spear has allowed her body to mature and has started making her more like a divine spirit. The version in the story however, known as Lion King, is a version of her who held the spear for a lot longer. She's a full divine spirit and the transformation into a goddess results in a different personality than the normal one, which is why she's the villain of the chapter. So basically magic spear takes Artoria, makes her busty and brainwashes her into a goddess. She really does get hit by this kind of stuff a lot (Two Alter forms, attempted brainwashing by Caster, successful brainwashing by Caster in the manga version, etc).

Hate to say it, but I DON'T like the fact that they're making a "True Lancer Artoria." I'd have rather believed that Alter was the true Lancer, like "Saber" would be the "True Saber Artoria," and that "Saber Alter" was the "Lancer Artoria Alter" persona corrupting "Saber Artoria."

I kind of like it myself as I am a fan of that divine corruption. However, I do find it odd that the Alter version was released first and isn't the villain...

... However I guess this means that Alter has the same corrupting powers, seeing them both together trying to lure Saber/Saber Lily would be cool, and of course I could see Rin falling for either one right away.

The Alter Lancer version was odd, they released her in the London chapter where she was the second to last boss before you fight the big villain but she doesn't actually really say anything. It was a big wasted opportunity too since one of the main characters in that chapter was Mordred. Her profile barely gave any information as well. It wasn't until later during an event I believe that they gave her some lore of her own, and I think it was that she's the version of Artoria that leads the Wild Hunt or something (King Arthur was one of the people who were said to have led the hunt). Even now I'm still not entirely sure how they relate to the normal Lancer version beyond having the spear. Hopefully one of them will get an interlude to clear that up.

Well that's a lot of wasted potential.

Much more relaxed this time. Seems like Mordred and Saber(Lily?) are having fun =)

So the first two Fate/Grand Order Materials books have come out and been partly translated, which means we actually have some relevant updates on a few servants for their skills.

Mata Hari's Pheromone skill got detailed, explaining how even without using her beauty and charm she can easily manipulate both men and women to acquire information using it. Noble Phantasm description is pretty much the same, but mentions that the victim of her brainwashing dance is under her control until sunrise and that the process can be repeated on the same victim any number of times.

And then Marie Antoinette's skills got detailed as well. Princess of Loveliness is charisma not just to lead but to naturally charm others, and by merely existing knightly individuals will be attracted to serve her. So basically she could easily make Artoria into her loyal subject.

Also yeah Swimsuit event is happening and pretty fun. Swimsuit versions of Scathach, Tamamo, Kiyohime, Mordred and the pirate duo Mary Read and Ann Bonny.

Just a bit of an update that's related to Fate games: Fate/Extella will be releasing November 10th in Japan, and November 15th in North America.

Also, Prisma Illya collaboration event was confirmed for F/GO, and it'll probably come around in October.

It was a Facebook post from "Karoshi the Dimension Breaker".  Guy covers a lot of anime and anime-related games.  Not an official source, unfortunately.  Marvelous still has it listed for "Winter 2016" for the NA release, so take it with a grain of salt if you're not convinced.

Anyway, we also have the newest little clip for the coming arc

Ishtar Rin looks so nice... We also have at least one new mysterious heroine, and a giant lamia/marilith. Upon further research the heroine appear to be Medusa in the Lancer class http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Lancer_(Fate/Grand_Order_-_Medusa) ... As for the giant monstergirl... You could certainly argue that is also Medusa because of the long purple hair... however if it is, it's drastic redesign from her more monsterous look http://typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/File:Gorgon.jpg

Something else it could be is the Orochi as it has 9 heads.

"Medusa Devil" was a name that appeared on the leaked list along with Medusa Lily, so I'm almost certain the giant lamia is her. Young pre monster Medusa facing off against her older, more monstrous form is such a Fate thing story wise. Not only that, but it fits with the theme of almost every single chapter having an alternate version of an existing character as the big enemy. (Saber Alter, Jeanne Alter, Medea Lily, Lancer Artoria Alter, Cu Alter, Lancer Artoria, Rome being the odd one out with Attila). Medusa Lily has a very cute design, I love it.

And while male protagonist in First Order is meh, finally getting some Archer and Saber Alter interactions will be very nice.

Either Alex or myself will probably get to a full update on Babylon later now that it's out, but the monster girl in that trailer is indeed Avenger Medusa, and in her Noble Phantasm she takes that full gorgon form pictured in Hollow Ataraxia.

So Scáthach is basically Aoko with purple hair, Ishtar is Rin with a belly dancer outfit, and let's no get into all the Saber clones. Type Moon are getting lazy with their character designs to say the least .

Well, in this case it's literally Rin possessed by Ishtar so that one makes sense. Scathach is basically Aoko though yeah.
