What game are you playing/looking towards?

Well... I just ordered a Playstation 4. A bundle offer from Amazon that includes Bloodborne, Last of Us Remastered (Digital), and a $20 Amazon gift card.

I've already taken my PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV and decided to get the free upgrade to PS4 while it was still being offered. Biggest question is when I'd play it, and if it'd be on console or PC (Heard great things about the PS4 version of it).
I think Warframe has the option of transferring my character to PS4, but I'm not sure it'll actually run better there than on my PC.

This'll definitely give me incentive to go and get the real version of DoA5:LR (glares at the PC porting team), and take a look at what has probably been considered the best single player Final Fantasy in years (despite the tumblr gender pronouns...). And after having enjoyed Hyrule Warriors so much, I might just decide to pick up Dynasty Warriors 8 Complete.

Fuck Tumblr sometimes, I mean, you get great artist over there, which is cool, but you also get the almost polar opposite extreme of 4chan there, which turns out, is also not a good thing. I heard the most fucked up thing over there, people inciting to burn FFXV because the director just wanted to make it a guys night out thing and thought including females in the party would make guys act differently, which, yeah, turns out can be true. I mean, yeah, I would of wanted the next FF to have female party members(or a entire female part for that matter), but then that wouldn't be FFXV, because FFXV is the director's vision for the story. I may bitch about the FFXIII succubi non-stop, but that's the theming of the game, I know that, and I'm not going to try to incite burning of it, because hey, it was still a pretty alright game despite any of my pet peeves. But these people, game isn't even out yet and they're threatening to burn copies of it because it "excludes people/genders" and "doesn't meet(their) diversity standards".

Also, mechanic girl Cid is fucking cute!

Where was I... Oh right Dynasty Warriors. Honestly to me it's all about theming with those games since I only really dropped in the Gundam series(played and beat each except for Reborn). I'm probably gonna wait till Dragon Quest Heroes(even though I haven't gotten my fill of Hyrule Warriors because my brother has kidnaped the Wii U).

As for me, played some Shovel Night, wow Tinker Knight's stage is a whole lot easier than Propeller's. Propeller's caused me to drop the game for a long while, but now I've kinda hoped back in. Also played more Senran Kagura, just leveling up Mirai before I go through Chapter 2 of Hejibo. Speaking of Senran Kagura, it looks like Estival Versus is going to have Ikaruga's mask from the manga(though it might also be in the game I'm playing)... But with the posing tech in that game it could make for some very interesting screenshots. It's such a cool looking mask, perfect for looking like a brainwashing visor.

That was also a large factor, but my brain is screaming at me to do it "in order to get maximum satisfaction", despite adorable little sister and hot possible partner(though if I pick female and have to be paired with that dark prince reject, F U~!)

But yeah, the crossover game is looking really good too, combat of Persona(because character models), sexy characters, and crossover Fire Emblem characters.  For a brief second we get a look a a evil looking Chrom... so maybe some female fire emblem characters will get the same treatment =)

It was talked about in the Nintendo Direct for a bit.  But yeah, School life and battles look more Persona-ish(since it shows the characters), (evil?) Chrom throughs his foot down(FE), enemies have weird designs(SMT), cool knight armor(fe), pegasus(fe) that turns into mecha pegasus with rocket boosters(SMT), the battle arena is basically P4 with a cheering crowd with light sticks(SMT).  But yeah, think of it more as SMT X Persona with Fire Emblem guest characters, because that's what it sounded like from the description.

Blah Blah Blah... chapter 6... 2 versions of the game... one is more classic and hardcore(Nohr), while other is more beginner friendly with easy ways to make money outside battle... if you buy digital you'll play until chapter 6, and then be given a choice as to what DLC package to buy... both individually will have the same content as Fire Emblem: Awakening, and then there will be a "third route"

In Japan. Where the game is coming out in late June. Methinks the difference in release dates is because NoA and NoE know that's not gonna fly in their territories.

I played more Project X Zone, just beat prologue mission 4. Tis fun, still getting the handle on battles and when to trigger the Cross Strikes and the timing for critical hits. I might start up Zone of Enders sometime today... Taking a break from Senran because things got super dark for some reason.

On a much lighter note, I'm enjoying Project X Zone a lot. The artwork is gorgeous, and seeing it applied in talking scenes and super attacks can be breath taking. I've also run into some sexy Q-Bees(or in this case just soul bees since there are multiple of them), Morrigan, Kaguya Nanbu and John Mclai- I mean "Mr. Dynamite"(please don't sue) among other notable characters from these three companies. The only real problems I have is not being able to switch the battle sprite for the map(and since most pairs are Male/Female the guy is usually the one you see walking around)... It's not much of a nitpick, but they have made the sprites for everyone for the talking scenes so there's not much reason to hold back on that. Then again I'm still in the prologue so maybe I'll have more control later... BUT COME ON, I WANT TO SEE MY LADIES ON THE MAP >_<



Also D, I saw what you were talking about, and I liked it, I wish my thing is Burst was THAT type of dark.

I swear Project X Zone is just beginning me to do multiple fics about it, or (if I can) find the portrait artwork, text boxes and backgrounds to make my own story.  So far we got several sexy villainess(Juri, V-Dural, Saya(Namco X Capcom), T-elos, Riemsianne La Vaes, and the original villainess Due Flabellum) as well as sexy monstergirls(Soul Bees, Succubi, Cocoon Maidens, and Zygotes) and all these sexy heroines(including Morrigan).  I just got BlackRose(and Kite) in my party, this is so awesome >_<  And the new or unknown characters this game throws at me I do love(Mii~).  Some things to note, Leanne from Resonance of Fate has to put on makeup before each fight because she feels it makes her stronger(because if she cries it will ruin it... but we can twist that, especially since some of the female bosses drop makeup), also, Saya does a charm kiss before her special attack, it doesn't seem to have an effect(it might, I've only fought her once), but still that's something.  Then there is the delightful thought of Morrigan brainwashing Chun-Li and the other characters from Namco X Capcom and triggering them to help her catch her new sexy heroines(also, her flirtiness she seemed particularly fond of playing with Kite and BlackRose).


I'm gonna try to get Zone of Enders started finally tonight.

I'm hearing a bit of news about Dissidia (Arcade).

1) They plan to have around/over 50 playable characters. For reference, Duodecim had 31 (32 if you count support-only Aerith).
2) If it gets to consoles, it'll likely be a year after arcade release.
3) Their second new character has been revealed: Ramza Beoulve.

We can probably make reasonable guesses that Ramza and Y'shtola will have respective nemeses to come across.
Ramza -> High Seraph Altima (Or would it be Delita? I never actually played very far into FFT, but I keep hearing about how much of a corrupt bastard he is toward the end)

Y'shtola -> Gaius van Baelsar. I'm sure some could make other arguments for Lahabrea or some other Ascian, but Gaius was the face of the initial story. He was Darwin's Law incarnate, and Richard Epcar's portrayal of that is probably the most notable among the cast.

And then we go into previous territory- the NONEXISTENT FFXI villain spot. There's just too many good ones to choose from!
The Shadow Lord- An enraged man corrupted by the crystals, becoming monstrous, leading a dark war against the rest of the races 20 years prior. Revived by magicite.
Eald'narche- Leader of an ancient race of demi-gods. Made some sort of contract with the Mothercrystal at a young age, hasn't aged since. Seeks to open the Gate of the Gods (which would likely wipe out the rest of the world).
Nag'molada- Scholar of a sub-branch of demi-god race. Seeks truth and retribution for the shortcomings of his kind. Gave his body to the God of Twilight, Promathia. Final boss of Prishe's story.
Lady Lilith- Opened a breach in time in order to travel back to the Dark War (Shadow Lord's prime) in order to help set events in motion to "preserve her time" (but Branch Timeline theory means JACK SHIT happened except making another screwed up reality). Formed a pact with the Great Avatar Odin. Will actually not be a likely candidate unless dancing idol Lilisette is also added to the roster.
And... I know nothing of Seekers of Adoulin, I left before that came around.

And now I'm hearing that Team Ninja has its hand in this? Man, all those TecmoKoei teams are getting around.

What's weird about this is that she's using ALL THREE schools of magic from the game. A Fire, Ice, and Thunder spell from Thaumaturge; Ruin and Virus (Or was it Bio?) from Arcanist. She's a Conjurer, her skillset is supposed based on Earth, Water, and Wind. But considering Conjurers are the healers, I guess it would be holding her back too much to leave her simply using her own set. And then she has her own unique Protect dome, something she's used multiple times in the story, but it isn't actually a skill; it looks like it'll charge Bravery for allies inside it.

Song choice is good, though I wouldn't have considered it needing a rock remix for the game, but eh...

EDIT: Okay, for my disbelief at the moveset, I was actually wrong about quite a bit of it. Those skills I claim are from other classes... well, they are from other classes, but they are ones that are actually available for use cross-class. And I apparently falsely exaggerated, there were no Fire or Thunder spells. Just Blizzard and those Arcane skills, which yes, are cross-class in FFXIV. And another skill I was confused by (Bioga), is apparently an EX Skill that all characters in Dissidia will have access to?

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR ALL FFs!(even FFXV)
So 7 of 50 characters revealed... Interesting. I wonder how those remaining slots will be divided up, and if they'll include characters from the mobile game... I found confirmation that Team Ninja is actually developing the game, along with it being based on PS4's core system technology, so that should make things easier for a port.

So far we have the mains from I, III, VI, VII, XIII, FFT, and a heroine from XIV. So that leaves II, IV, V, VIII, IX, XI, XII, XV, and Type-Zero(not count spinoffs such as IVAY, VII's several games, X-2, and XIII 2&3 or the spinoff gba games for XII and Advanced Tactics, or Mystic Legends...), so that brings it up to a theoretically 16, then if you include 1 villain from each game(which I'm gonna assume they will at least do to fill out that rooster and provide some plot unless it's just going to be heroes only for fan favorite reasons) that doubles it to to 32... Which leaves 18 slots left for popular side characters(which isn't enough for each game and the villains are going to get shafted here unless they want to make things balanced)... It's natural to assume some of those characters are going to be from Duodecim(if not all, but please replace Vaan with a more relevant or cooler character from XII like EVERYONE ELSE, but seriously, Ashe, Basch, or Balthier... though I would love Fran so much)... so that's brings it to... 39 slots filled possibly? I don't know, this is all rampant & confusing speculations...

Either way Argias better be in there and I would like to see some more villains, like Jihl for FFXIII's villain, though I'm pretty sure that slot is going to filled by Cid, or Caius from XIII-2... I'd love to see Fang as well(because she was the most interesting character in XIII!), but we'll probably get Snow, Serah, or Noel... Just please not Hope... But back to extra villain slots... I'll probably go my choice and most likely, leaving games that I don't see any real possibilities with some convo on why
