Tank controls are crap to begin with, I HIGHLY doubt it's worse than PS3. And seriously, it's a goddamn tank, I would think the awful maneuverability would be realistic. Only movements are forwards, backwards, and turn; were there tanks that could move in a curve in the 1940's (serious question, I don't know myself)?

Helena is not a bad choice, Haruka was originally from a noble family so makes sense. Mirai Maria is more adorable than I thought possible. I am wondering who is going to be who now, so many options since they're including Versus... I wonder who Nyotengu's twin is going to be... Looks like Honoka is going to be Hibari, which fits nicely with character.

Oh, and I completely forgot about that Dyantasy Warriors Neptunia, (Neptunia U), turns out it's gonna have a nifty versus mode.

It's a pity I've never actually played one despite having II and V, but before I could get around to them they went ahead and rereleased them, and I really can't stand playing a version that lacks the improvements of the newest out, drives me up a wall.

I just got the game. Yes the tank controls are crap in the PS3 version as well. Honestly that's just what I heard. Without playing both versions I can't say which is worse.

So I did some research on what version of Senran Kagura 2 we're getting...  Oh, and for the record, Europe's branch is giving this game so much love, with various versions of the game and a nice, well done site(full of story and character bios along with a great clip of the game) just for it.  Also, I checked, those versions are exclusive for Europe.  XSeed on the other hand...

Use a tumblr blog post with a short battle opening clip, no character bios, and is done really poorly...  They didn't even mention the game was on sale for preoders already.  Not on the Senran Kagura "site", there twitter, or their home site...  It's just up on their Amazon account...  And instead of the Happy Boobs edition, we're getting the "Double D Edition", which is basically Happy Boobs without stickers, poster, and box...

On the subject of Senran Kagura is there any way to turn off the clothing destruction function/option.

Even that fighting game (Konami has never been able to make a good fighting game) wasn't the first bad Castlevainia, as there were the two N64 games. Also I happen to like the Lord of Shadow games, I just feel that making them Castlevainia games hurt them as much as it hurt the Castlevainia series. Here we had what could have been a good new IP for Konami, turning it into the new direction for the Castlevainia series was the wrong thing to do. They essentially hurt two franchises with one move.

Now as for Silent Hills even with Kojima leaving I don't think that dooms the game. It still has Guillermo del Toro who will really help with the feel of the game. As long as the development team does not suck it could work.

I'm an optimist as you can tell. While I have very little faith in current Konami I won't completely give up hope in them. I feel that have relied too heavily on Kojima and as great as he is, is only one man. Maybe this will force Konami to look for new talent and focus on new things. Or better yet reviving classic series, Suikoden 6 please. No that will never happen.

Not really as it acts as a central game mechanic. The more close you lose the weaker to attacks you become, and you have to shed them to go into Frantic mode and build up your Yin gauge.

It's weird how well some of those Senran Kagura costumes work when you consider the tag intros/wins. First that comes to mind is Helena and Marie, the courtesy is something Miria will do when greeting an enemy, while the win perfectly portrays Miria's need for Haruka's attention, and Haruka's flipintness. Honoka as Hibari fits perfectly, especially with Marie tags, Hibari nervous about fighting while Mirai knows it's gotta be done. However, their tag win is interesting the two doing cute things together makes me think they're doing it for Haruka, who they don't want to disappoint.

As for the others, well, they do create nifty pairing fodder... I would definitely love to see something where they fall into their Senran Kagura rolls(especially Ayane X Honoka).

As for the Estival Versus, they showed a lot of interesting enemy types, I think the hawk/harpy girls had the best design(wings made out of KATANAS!) while the wolf themed girls were quite nice, seeing sexy women amazon ninjas. However, seeing the Kuroko girls ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kuroko ) just gives me strong ideas for a scene late at night where one of the girls uses them to trick another into thinking she has complete control over them(until it becomes true).

Also, considering jumping back into Disgaea with 5, I've pretty much been gone since 2. The "heroine" looks interesting with her flaunting her charm ability in nearly every scene with her in it... A pity she's so devoted to stone face, and there is only one other female presence in the main party... Though I'm just being picky... just I miss the days of La Pucelle and Rhapsody... where females were a majority of the party(though La Pucelle balanced it out nicely) and were kickass.

I was just thinking today, that more stuff could use Senran Kagura in it... and this is the complete opposite, BUT IS EQUAL IF NOT GREATER THAN! They're all rendered in the lovely artstyle, Ayane is a perfect fit(desperately, DESPERATELY hoping she will be given some yuri context with the girls(like Asuka because of the Kasumi connection), or preyed upon by Haruka, that works too). Hakufu, Kan'u, and Ryofu are perfect from Ikkitousen as well! I would love to see a Ryofu X Katsuragi showdown on who's the most pervy, Homura and Kan'u have a epic duel, and Hakufu and Daidoji seek to test their might. I know it probably won't happen and they won't have any story(save for maybe one mission where you have to fight them, maybe), but I'll dream.

Also, played some more Senran Kagura since I know have a 3ds with a working L button(which is kinda needed, otherwise no transformations). I really enjoy playing as Mirai, not so much her combat style, but just running around headquarters, feeling like a young girl who wants to impress her sexy seniors, being Haruka's plaything... It makes me feel warm.
