What game are you playing/looking towards?

Bravely Default Update: Just beat the double K's last night (Khamer & Khint) on Chapter 6. So far, I can see why so many people recommend skipping the Jobmaster re-fights on Chapter 5: while the Eternian Sky Knights have (slightly) different things to say between chapters, Jackal is the same save for a cutscene at the end where his foster kids help him recover, Profiteur gets a different dying speech (in battle, so you can't watch it on the Event Viewer) mocking Khint, and Khint and Khamer... get the same pre-fight and fight banter as in Chapter 5, and the post-battle cutscene is the same conversation with PM Harena as back in the first loop. At least I get 999 JPs from each battle.

I'm also working on a "Don't Die/Death to Checkpoints" run with Shovel Knight, dreading the prospect of doing it without relics, and am advancing on Wind Waker HD, AKA Link Takes Selfies, every once in a while (note to Rainyday: have you used the Club Nintendo code from your Mario Kart 8 purchase yet? It expires this Thursday!). The character design was a bit better back in the Gamecube, but everything else is better: the lighting, the sailing, taking pictures (made even easier thanks to a few generous souls via Miiverse)... I would have gladly paid 60USD for this game, so the fact that I essentially got it for free is a bonus.

Oh yeah, my brother has been playing that, and I'm considering going to Twilight Princess(though it will be crap quality...) since I never played it. Then I can go back to some of the GB ones on my 3DS and finish off with Skyword Sword is I have the money. Still, I got some other games that I need to tackle and I haven't been the best when it comes to dividing up my time...

Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Nifty, I bought the PSP version a while back but never got around to it.  It's got a good amount of street cred and it's a rare JRPG in which the main character is a heroine =)

Also, in other news, it's looks like we can expect some more Zelda characters in Hyrule Warriors according to the Japanese site.

At most two more villains five more good guys(going off the "coming soon" and size of the charts).  One of those slots has to be Ganondorf...  Now if there was only one more villain, I wonder who it will be...  I know Vaati has a lot of ground swell, but he's not exactly in the right Zeldaverse... Twinrova would be nice as we are lacking a Ocarina villain, and she's one of the only human sized bosses, the other being Dark Link, but would that require a character slot when we already possibly have doppelgangers...  Then there is the possibility of Majora, who would be sick, but we do have a evil mask already and Majora has no ties to Ganon(then again, if it was just Majora's Wrath that would be something).  There's also the possibility of Demon Lord Demise, he would kinda steal Ganon's thunder though.  Still, there might be a chance for it to be a corrupted character as well.  Veran would be very nice too... But we already have one sexy sorceress.

But yeah, all speculation~

OMG THE HARP IS PLAYING THE TUNES SHE TEACHES TO LINK! And each one has a fitting effect for each tune~ Oh god I love this.

I'm also really looking forward to Hyrule Musou... Though I don't have a Wii U yet, this may be the game I finally get one for. I've been meaning to get one eventually, but the 3DS has kept me pretty occupied lately.

Not to mention Best Buy's recent buy one get one free sale... I picked up Bravely Default, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and Yoshi's New Island (as well as Pokemon games to resell for a profit!). Bravely Default will probably have me busy for a while now...

Well, I just watched the Hyrule Warriors special on Nintendo Direct.

-They confirmed that the reprising villains are playable (there was literally no mention of any sort for the original villains though...)
-Lana also has a Summoning Gate weapon style
-Character unlocking (for whomever it applies to... probably the villains) will likely be done in Adventure Mode
-"The Demon King" Ganondorf confirmed

In other news, Atlus has announced a new Etrian Odyssey game: this time a remake of the second one.



The new Princess' design feels like a downgrade from the two character models from EO3, though.

One thing is for sure, she really comes off as a sexy flirty in her vid, that little lick at the end of it, now that's a woman of temptation, she even has a pounce move, can't wait till we get some vids of her using it on the girls.  That voice too, mmm!  It's looking like that mask is removable...  I hope.

God damn is he a magnificent evil bastard.  I like how his persona/stand is his "Ganon" form materialized in darkness

That feeling being that there will be a both good and bad path for the campaign.  Link and all his cohorts on the good side, and Ganondorf, Ghirahim, and Zant on the evil side who oppose Cia as well.  I knew it, it's a freaking Dyntasy game, of course there will be at least 3 sides, how wonderful~



Also this screenshot caught my eye...  Can Cia summon Dark Link for attacks, or does he just happen to be there and how much of a role will he play? (I'm assuming not much because I doubt they would leak a screenshot like that before a Dark Link trailer).

Cia is definitely summoning Dark Link in her attacks. The Gate of Souls graphic by her is making that part clear. Besides, that's probably why Lana has her own summoning weapon, and an army of Cuccoos.

I find myself impressed by the garden outside of Cia's little palace.

It just goes to show how much of an unhealthy obsession she has with the Hero. Kid Link, Adult Link, frickin Wolf Link, all of them statues in her garden.

It is a beautiful garden though. Too bad Cia's obsession isn't the same as most enemies in Zelda... Oh the world we could live in...

Ganondorf, Zant, and Ghirahim are on the Player Character side.

... Cia, Valga, and Wizro are still on the Enemies side...

Bravely Default progress update: 3 crystals on Chapter 6 down.

I thought for a moment Chaugmar was going to beat my party in a war of attrition, what with its "absorb 2 BP, then absorb 1000-2000 HP from a party member twice the next turn", but thankfully it died without much of a fuss.

Also, Qada is still laughably easy with Utsusemi+Turning Tables+Transience cheese (plus the occasional Dispel).

MOTHER FFFUUUUU- ... *sigh* You know, I was wondering why it was taking them so long to put up Ganondorf... and I see they removed the "Coming Soon" block... I still hold a flame of hope since it was said you can unlock characters with the adventure mode, and none of their mechanics displayed so far make them look unplayable.

On the bright side, the lack of coming soon could either be a mistake or they wish to keep those characters a surprise, that desert area base camp definitely look Gerudo, on the gallery update we get a look at Cia's other side of her outfit(most of the postures have her facing cropped or facing left(her right))


Oh, and she may have done the impossible in this screenshot...

Zant's trailer was released today, so yay~ It looks like we may have some more even post release, for extra weapon releases and possibly secret characters or stuff.

I'm guessing "Zant is a full bowl of Froot Loops" is the new "Sheik is Zelda", now.

Okay, so it's been 8 years since his game, but at least now there's a full game of him being a loony Ganon fanboy instead of just his pre-battle cutscene and boss fight.

I know Donkey Kong has relations with Mario games but they passed that when they included the tie wearing version.  A pity no Zelda while animal crossing gets two characters in, but at least progress is being made towards the one true goal, Super Smash Kart...  I want Bomb-chus in Mario Kart so bad...

Between this and the announcement of the Pokemon fighting game, it's almost like Nintendo wants to take people's minds off the leaks.

Yes, I said Pokemon fighting game. Based on Tekken. There's a trailer out, but it's just a minute of Lucario fighting Machamp, so it's obviously just a teaser.

Still, whoa, talk about a big announcement: 16 upcoming tracks, half of them based on other properties, plus racers not from the Mario series or sub-series? It's like we're just one step closer to the fabled Super Smash Kart.

I've been playing Hearthstone all night, and I finally built a warlock deck that I like! It's basically a heavy control deck that quickly ticks down both you and your opponents health and god does it confuse people! I love it~ It's no 90% win ratio or anything like that, but it's fun as hell because yo never feel out of control. Key components are anything that comes back after dying and anything that deals aoe damage.
