What game are you playing/looking towards?

Muramasa: Rebirth is on the PS+ free games list for Vita right now.

Just went through Momohime's story. Not sure why they call it Momohime's story though, since you're playing as the evil ghost Jinkuro who's possessing her... Anyway, gameplay is actually one of the more exciting things I've played in recent times. And it has some nice looking ladies too, like the kitsune assistants.

But yeah, been doing some more shoveling and ninjaing, as well as some karting since my brother brought over the Wii-U and got Mario Kart 8, and we were pretty much doing that for the last two days(hence all the Mario ideas).  He also got a free game because of the offer that's going on and choose Wind Waker HD...  I do miss the open see, and it looks more inviting than ever.

Anyway, I played some Skullgirls tutorials and tried out Fukua( https://youtu.be/IXN5yr4dGIc ) who turned out very fun, so I'm gonna be trying to get good at that game and figure out who I'm good with(since I pretty much like how all the cast is designed, especially Peacock and Valentine, and a Scanty and Kneesocks colors for Filia and Parasoul respectively is just awesome).

But yeah, the new Eliza work-in-progress review just came out, so here it is


Eliza definitely embodies the haughty Mistress type with a great VA choice of Michelle Ruff, with the "Darling, you are not ready for what you are about to face", "You fool" "You will bow", and "Don't Struggle" I can already imagine Filia in traditional Egyptian garb, eyes opaqued, kneeling before her(though their might be story issues that have to do with Samson).

Edit: I also found the music for the vid to sound very Castlevania like, and then someone pointed out to me that the composer for the Castlevania series does ALL the music, and now I AM SO HAPPY~

Also, there's going to be a CG series(produced by someone else, I don't think any funds are going to it, but I could be wrong, need to watch the Kenji vid again). I'd perfer something more traditional... like Panty and Stockings with Garterbelt style since that fits well with the character design, but eh, I'll give it a look regardless. Though I will admit I wouldn't be able to stop laughing if they decided last minute to change it to the Ruby Spears designs, hahaha.

Eh, not really, just the machinations of some deluded crafter who was hanged for his heretical actions (seriously, that's the story behind this minion >_>). Looks pretty neat, but is really expensive, in that it requires a lot of a new currency introduced to the game.

... I purchased her instead of items that would really make me stronger, and if the people I run with find out, they'll be pi~~ssed.

As for me, more MGSV Ground Zeroes, 45% complete, just trying to get some S ranks on normal missions, though I really should complete them on Hard so I can get that Zone of Enders cassette. And Hearthstone because 700 fucking gold.

Apparently PSN is offering a PeacewalkerHD/Ground Zeroes buy-one-get-one bundle this week, I might pick that up.

And apparently, now some new characters are getting announced for Arc System Works's games:

- Marie (with the Aeon Persona Kaguya) in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
- Celica A Mercury (along with Ex Machina: Minerva), as well as the return of Lambda-11 in BlazBlue: Chronophantasma

For what it's worth I found Peace Walker very enjoyable and it had a lot of replay value. I'm not sure if many share my opinions but it was really a stand out title to me with a very interesting story, and of course, Miku Hatsune humming tunes during a fight is strangely awesome. It also helps flesh out Ground Zeroes more.

Ground Zeroes of course is enjoyable, small main story, but a good chuck of backstory but lots of replay value and fun easter eggs.

As for the Ultimax news, that's pretty cool since I'll be watching the Golden animation to find out more about her.

Celica is a nice addition as well Lambda-11, now to wait for Chronophantasma EXTEND II...

I been looking forward to the Directors cut as well, that new dancers outfit just has such sizzle to it. I kinda hope they would release it on the 3DS too but I feel that's me just being OCD about it(also, I have money on my 3DS...).

As far as Marie goes, I don't know exactly what they'll be showing in P4GAnimation, but I do highly recommend that you look for videos of her Social Link and the Hollow Forest, and maybe even the Golden True End as well.

I swear I hear english. I know there is some hate out there for her(like Navi), but I really like her combat style, very leg oriented =)

But yeah, if you're going to get the Wind Waker in there, that would be the way to do it.

Heads up, 3 Ocarina of Time characters were just announced for Hyrule Warriors: Sheik, Darunia, and Ruto. I've only seen a very small scan of Sheik for now.

So that puts us at two and a half male playable characters for the heroes of Hyrule.

I had heard sometime after E3 that the game has even gender parity. Presumably, all the focus on the women in trailers is because Team Ninja knows their audience.

So, even if they're counting "Link but with a different weapon" in that number, there should still be place for some of the few guys Zelda fans want in (Groose, Rusl, Hero's Shade, Tingle, the talking boat).

In other news, I'm still playing Bravely Default and am about to finish Chapter 5, having jumped through the hoops to get the dialogue about the past between Edea's family and mentor. I can definitely see why people dislike this part, though since I'm playing it along with another game, it's not that bad to me.

Though it's hilarious how Artemia has the exact same lines from when you fought her in Chapter 2, not even bothering to say something different.

Interesting, I'm looking quite forward to Shiek, Darunia and Ruto are cool too...  This makes me wonder if Nabooru and Saria will make it in too to kind of filling out the 7 sages, except for Rauru(he's more of a guide, but a battle owl would be pretty sick). Impa is already up there... I wonder if she'll get some skins as well(like Ocarina)... But I love her Hyrule Warriors skin the best.  Saria could be very interesting(Deku related attacks, ocarina summons), pity about that eternal child thing...

I can see Ruto being very fun, lots of wave attacks, possibly water jets... I wonder how she'll look in this game(possibly very similar to Ocarina design like Aigtha was to Twilight Princess, but then again Team Ninja might have some fun...

Darunia is just gonna be a smash to play, and I've mentioned my thoughts on Shiek(though playstyle should be interesting).

Now just give me Nabooru and I'll be happy, give me Malon and I'll be overjoyed~

Oh yeah, Naxxramas just hit so that's gonna cause some business, and I've moved back to home for reasons so that means more Wii U stuff.

I think there are still some chambers left to fire as far as characters go. Still holding out hope for Nabooru.

As it stands we have 10 confirmed hero characters.  An additional 3 if you count different weapons as characters, but I have a feeling the other characters will get alternate weapons as well(if only because it list "Agitha, Parasol" and the like with each video, and this for Midna http://www.gengame.net/2014/06/a-nine-character-roster-seems-small-for-hyrule-warriors/).

5 villains listed with Ganondorf(http://zeldawiki.org/File:HW_Ganondorf.png) to make 6, not counting "Big Zam"(aka giant monsters) characters... I wonder if we will see Demise since we see Ghirahim.

Referring to the roster pic above we can already see the surpasses the amount of slots on the heroes side alone(unless Shiek is a alternative to Zelda)...  Still, judging from that being a demo build and looking at this studio's previous work(One Piece Pirate Warrior 1 & 2), there's a very good chance that there are still more characters and that some of the enemies will be playable.


Now, back to Shiek, it said somewhere that Shiek is Zelda's bodyguard when she appears missing in the game's beginning and is trying to get everyone together.  The "Feature Trailer" even has a scene with Link, Lana, Impa, and Shiek back to back.  Now, it is heavily implied that Shiek is Zelda by this point(they are VERY similar but have some degrees of difference, eye color, bangs... I think that's it, as for similarities, skin tone, hair color, similar elf ears...), it's very hard to deny, but they could be different people...  There are even pics of what appear to be the two fighting, however Zelda appears very dim in color...  

Could it be a doppelganger?

But anyway, Zelda being there from the beginning, getting to know Link and Lana, being with Impa would make sense.

But yeah, I'm really hyped.  We get some shots of Impa's alternate weapon(a fire glaive, which goes well with her giant water blade), possible Navi for Shiek, Great Fairy Assist(does she absorb Link or something when she appears?), multiplayer, some type of Zelda 1 minigame, even more alternate costumes(we got regular knight link and Ocarina coming http://www.siliconera.com/2014/07/23/hyrule-warriors-costumes-ocarina-time-skyward-sword/ ), Cia not censored in the trailer, mini Majora moons, Shiek definitely sounding female(<_<), levels from various Zelda games, skullatullas, and the BEST SCENE EVER AT THE END, I am very happy =)

As for me, more training mode in SkullGirls, as well as Hearthstone, I cleared out Naxxramas...  I wonder if there's any benifit to doing multiple runs or buying it(with gold of course) since I beat everything in a night...  Pity hard mode didn't give you anything like gold versions of the cards or a cool card back.  Though new cards adds a whole new dimension to that game.

There's already a picture with the select screen of the 10 heroes. Sheik and Zelda are different slots.

You REALLY need to learn all of Marie's story. There is a reason for her not having a Shadow. In fact, part of that video shows you the reason why (I'm not telling you what it is though).

There's actually a bit of live gameplay of Celica on BuruRaji (BlazBlue Radio?). Her fighting style is literally 90-95% Minerva. Maybe 2 normals and the Healing Distortion are actually Celica at work. Now the question is her Astral Heat. Is it just some really huge Minerva attack or is it-

Doing some more research it looks like we are going to get some peaks at the demoness that Bayonetta and Jeanne have had pacts with(Madama Butterfly and Madama Styx), and they will be the enemies that you will fight to get them back under your control... You could do that O_O It never came across my mind. Just the whole "carry me" was annoying, and then getting near the end of the "dungeon" and being a hair off on a throw that sent her down into the depths to retrieve again. I don't hate a lot of dungeons, in fact I actually liked the water temple(the mechanics were interesting and FIGHT THE DARK LINK), but inside Juba-Juba's belly is probably my least favorite dungeon of all time. I mean, I find the concept of living dungeons cools, but I also really hate them. Being inside somethings body just doesn't sit well with me(this includes Monstro's belly from Kingdom Hearts).
