Well, I'm having issues getting a credit card. Apparently, I haven't held credit/loaning accounts open long enough to "establish a credit history." Which is interesting, because in the exact same statement, they mention that through a particular credit score calculator (with values ranging from 200-900, higher being better), I have a credit score of 830.

*sigh*...

I was aiming for an Amazon credit card to get various bonuses and gift cards from Amazon. Especially now, when I've been looking forward to buying certain things. But now, a time limit just hit me. Final Fantasy XIV Summer DLC campaign. Buying $20 worth of games from Amazon entitles you to a DLC code for FFXIV, which includes stuff like a butler suit, a maid dress, 2 primal masks (No, not Shiva and Garuda, it's Ifrit and Titan), Fat Chocobo mount, and a consumable item that gives you a sparkly wing aura; but you have to do the purchasing before July 4. I figure I'll get back into XIV sometime, so I'm buying the stuff, though I won't necessarily get started immediately. Also buying Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin edition. Going to make me a Desert Sorceress-themed character with this one, and maybe actually finish the game this time.

FFBE: mostly a drag right now, waiting for new stuff. According to July login calendar, it now looks like we can get 4 summon tickets per month if we log in every day (not bad, especially if it stays that way in the future). Been getting tired of some of my current A-Team characters, and drew one more time... and got Firion! Not the best, but he's certainly a good fighter with great potential in the future: can reach 5* now, 6* later, LOTS of Killer effects (damage boost vs. particular enemy type), can use ALL weapons (which is good, because I NEEDED a good character that could use Axe, as my second strongest weapon is an Axe), and has the ability that is pretty much the biggest reason 4* Cyan is in my A-Team (Bye bye, Cyan).

EDIT: Also bought Hyperdevotion Noire. $3 is a good price for decent comedy, and hearing Melissa Fahn's Neptune get salty about not being the main character.

Not entirely sure about posting this in the game section because of the content, but anyways, I've been taking a look at the occasional updates to another RPGMaker game by ZXC. Simply called "Latex Dungeon," though there's a lot more than latex at this point, was probably supposed to be a "Raven Dungeon," since you play as Raven from the Titans. Let me get this out of the way- THERE IS FUTANARI, PHALLIC PROTRUSIONS, ETC.

Alright, just started up Dark Souls 2 on PS4. I think I'm already noticing a couple of differences in enemy placement in just the first region, mostly just those bulky turtleshell enemies with big hammers. I also seem to have forgotten how to get Pyromancy Flame, including the fact that Pyromancer was not a starting class. Considering pyromancy is how I want to build my character here, I kinda want to change that fast.

Also, the pyromancer dress-up girl you save from petrification... you're not going to hear me say something like this often, but I recognize that voice. It's weird because this was recorded in Europe, a region I'm not familiar with as far as actors go. I'm pretty damn sure she's voiced by the same actress that played Fiora in Xenoblade Chronicles. And along those lines, I don't know how many people know this, but apparently, Yoshida's team at SquareEnix decided to move recording for the English version of FFXIV from America to Europe for Heavensward. That meant new voices for the entire cast. And now I somehow wonder if I'm going to hear this girl's voice in Heavensward when I decide to start it up (I did receive the disc for that in my order with Dark Souls 2).

EDIT: Oh who am I kidding, she's probably Minfilia 3.0, the Hydaelyn Herald edition.

New characters in FFBE today: Golbez, Kefka, and Chizuru (original) I pretty much spent everything I had available to spend to draw while they have a rate-boost banner, which was about 26 summons. End up getting 5 Golbez and 4 Kefka, no Chizuru at all (considering Chizuru is a 4* MINIMUM, chance of drawing is MUCH smaller). Unfortunately, none of the future god-tier characters either. But, I guess there is a bright side other than Golbez and Kefka: I did manage to draw Celes and Garland, and in the end, three of the characters on my A-Team are going to be replaced (Edgar, Lasswell, and Vivi). Japan needs to get going and make a VI event, so I can hear if Kefka and Celes get 6* versions.

Anyways, Golbez has a trust reward of the spell Meteor. The future god-tier mages already have Meteor or better, but if I can get it now (as in with a week of grinding low-energy missions and fusing all of the Golbez into a single unit), I could very well have a top tier mage up until the time the god-tier upgrades to said mages arrive.
Kefka has trust reward Ribbon. A decent boost to MAG and SPR, and as FF vets will know, IMMUNE TO ALL STATUS EFFECTS. And I have 4 Kefkas. That might take a while.
Celes gets Minerva Bustier (Yay!), a top-tier clothing-type armor, with 30% resistance to Fire/Ice/Thunder. Females only, so you don't have to get weird images in your head like I did imagining Auron or Vivi in Rinoa's Party Dress.

Warframe... added Lacrosse?

Decided to look up that actress. Believe it or not, I wasn't entirely wrong. She is Carina Reeves. She IS in FFXIV: Heavensward, though not as Minfilia 3.0. Nope, she's the Antecedant's secretary (and now your fellow fugitive) Tataru Taru. And she apparently doesn't have much of a filmography, only seeing the characters I've mentioned, a role in Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, and a Player Character voice in Xenoblade Chronicles X (curious, since that one DID get recorded in America; hell, my favorite actress is one of the other PC voices); and two other things.

MuvLuv is now on Steam! Or at least it will be in a day, though as a backer to the project, I got a Steam key in my email. It's probably still going to be a few months before I see the real rewards of my backing though (all the merchandise, a Vita version, etc).

So, back on Dark Souls 2... damn, I had forgotten how much they had nerfed Pyromancy. You hardly get any uses of a spell in comparison to Sorceries, and I also find that Sorceries end up doing about the same amount of damage as my pyromancy, but still get a lot more uses, and this is with a build of equal INT & FTH. So now my character is a Desert Sorceress that's using tree branches and blue light rather than flames from her hands. It really sucks...

Ordered another game that was on sale on Amazon. A game in a series that honestly, I almost hear nothing but praise for it-
Earth Defense Force. 4.1, to be specific, The Shadow of New Despair, on PS4.
Though it's probably on sale because it's being released on Steam next Monday. >_>
Regardless, I think I'd still prefer going with console.

Started up EDF yesterday. It looks to have A LOT of missions, but it's mostly just the same thing- shoot the giant aliens until they're all dead. And that can be fun.

I might make a Hong Kong PSN account and see about trying out the free version of DOAX3, and download some of the Catalog DLC. I just keep hearing a few different things that really start appealing to my fetishes.
1) "Softening" skincare. I can definitely imagine putting that stuff on Nyotengu. Now imagine putting it all on Marie Rose.
2) That "Puff" bunny suit looks amazing, and as far as I can tell, it's the first "swimsuit" that doesn't actually seem to be a swimsuit.
I know the free version is Kasumi-only, no Casino without special pass, so I'm wondering what a guy can do without the Casino available.

Well, after a few "vacations" in DOAX3 (Free version), I'm convinced Zack's Paradise Island is a front for conditioning the DOA girls into becoming gyaru sluts (bisexual, but sluts nonetheless). It's all about Closeness, Satisfaction, and Excitement. And to think that the place sells skincare products that (secretly) enhance your bust & butt sizes the higher your excitement is (the products are temporary, UNLESS you also follow up with a very special product that requires Owner level 110). The girls tan way too easily as well; if you don't use sunscreen, they pretty much look like Lisa at the end of the vacation. Not kidding, if there were hair-color changing options, and maybe some makeup, it literally would be a gyaru simulator. And the biggest issue- most of the "good stuff" takes place in the Casino, WHICH YOU CAN'T ACCESS IN THE FREE VERSION (without a special pass you have to pay for)! Anyways, I still have another 4 days before "Puff" appears in the Owner Shop.

Also, I actually did underestimate how many "Non-swimsuits" were already there. It seems like each girl has a particular outfit from DOA that they did bring over, though unlike the "character-themed" swimsuits (stuff like Nyotengu's "Notaka," which bears a resemblance to her unzipped catsuit), you can't give these outfits to other girls. Hell, it's apparently hard enough just to get a girl to accept a character-themed swimsuit that isn't theirs. Also unfortunately, I looked up Nyotengu's specific outfit; it's not the unzipped catsuit, it's the leotard/hosiery/boots set (all three colors); a great, sexy outfit, but not the one I desired most. And of course, Kasumi gets her classic outfit (P1 Blue, P2 White, I'm guessing P3 black).

In case I haven't said it- DAYUM, that bunny suit! The "Puff" brand of clothing just went up for DoAX3. And yeah, it's just as sexy as I was hoping on Kasumi (nice and glossy, unlike the bunny suits from DoA5). Almost awkward getting Kasumi to wear that and then participate in all of those beach activities. Will definitely consider buying multiple just to keep in stock to give to other characters (Ayane, Marie, Nyotengu...) just in case I ever decide on importing the full version (if it ever gets THAT cheap and gets even more outfits that stun the hell out of me).

Also, I think I had a misunderstanding on the skincare. It changes the shape of the body parts, not the size. It's the difference between droopy and close versus firm and apart.

EDIT: After a bit of research... damn. The girls actually don't like the Puff suits. The best you can do is give them their color of choice, which they are only "indifferent" to, and they actively dislike every other color. Of course that just brings up another awkward situation here- Going back to what I said to Zack's Paradise Island being a slut-conditioning front. You're trying to get these girls to wear things they don't like/don't want to wear for your own entertainment. And I'm sure it's just as hard to get them to get on stage at the casino and poledance. But if you can do that, you've broken them. I have to wonder if they're asking themselves as they perform "Why am I doing this for them? And in these clothes? I don't even like this... so why does it feel so exciting?" Twisted Evil

Today's bad news: My 22" PC Monitor finally crapped out entirely. Something sounds broken in it, it feels like it's overheating, etc.; and while it tries to work, the picture just cuts out.

Today's good news: I finally have a reason to take that unused 32" LCD TV off of my floor and connect it to my PC.

Alright, I hope I don't regret this...

I'm going back into FFXIV. Certainly not raid-level play, but I am going to subscribe again, and get into the Heavensward content (did I mention buying Heavensward some time ago during the Amazon Summer Campaign, in which I'll get Butler & MEIDO outfits, as well as a unique flying mount and primal masks?).

I actually just tried to log in to my free company's TeamSpeak channel, and found there was nothing to log into. Sad

Anyways, I hear the new Palace of the Deep dungeon is a good place to level up at all levels (since you're forced back into level 1 running it at the start anyways), so I might use that to level up Dark Knight, the third tank class, once I acquire the class.

Not that I've ever played any game in the series with anyone here, but something important has come up.

I will not be purchasing the English version of BlazBlue: Central Fiction when it comes out on consoles.

The biggest reason I even got into the series and enjoyed it was the english voice cast. It is the reason I truly became a die-hard fan of actress Cristina Vee.

That's all gone now. And now they will not get my money.

I personally think that the Blazblue series had some of the best dubbing out of any video game, there were so many fantastic performances in it that even surpassed the Japanese performances and this is just Arc System Works' final act in trying to ruin it that they have been doing for years. Ever since ASW's internal localization team took over Aksys's job of dubbing starting with the CS2 portable release it there has been a loss in quality, with certain versions of games having fucked stuff like 3 different people as one character and LOTS of replacement VAs and script errors because they didn't care. Luckily Chrono Phantasma looked like a step in the right direction with only some flubs like Bang's new VA, but the high quality of the rest of the actors made it great. Except now they decided to fuck over fans of the dub in the fourth and final part of the story. I am also a die-hard fan of Cristina Vee (I main Mu even), and as hyped as I was before this nonsense for the game I'm just going to get it used sometime later down the line after it's price has been cut. It's the equivalent of if MGS4 suddenly no longer had English voices after the first three did.

So basically yeah I share your anger.

It's been confirmed by Cristina Vee, Patrick Seitz (he wasn't just Ragna, he was the goddamn director!), and someone from AKSYS at this point. No dub for BlazBlue: Central Fiction. Honestly, I probably wouldn't even buy the first version to come out anyways, because they always seem to be coming out with newer versions that have minimal new content that I have to pay full price for. Still disappointing though, because now I'm going to vow not only to not buy the first console edition, but the Extend too, if they don't bring the voices back by the time that is a thing.

And one of my favorite things just ended recently: Nana & Kaoru ('s S&M Diary). Of course, because of one particular story that takes place after the main line, there's not really any surprises as to what happens between the two. Still, goddamn, what a sexy set of last images to end with.

Also, I hear the second season of Glitter Force is on Netflix now.

Well, petitioning has already started and it's doing better than I expected. 500 signs in less than a day is pretty good for a game like this, and there was that Digimon petition that actually worked so here's to hoping that via dlc, Extend or whatever ASW and Aksys will take note and add a dub. I just can't imagine seeing the end of Ragna's story without Patrick Seitz voicing it.

Oh boy, getting back into FFXIV this past month has been such a great experience, though I think I may have reached the high point of it by clearing all of the major content.

Some things I have noticed-
Palace of the Dead:
There's an item you can obtain that allows you to temporarily turn into a Void Succubus within the dungeon. I'm not sure what the major benefits are, but her one attack didn't seem very good. And the boss...

Took a look back into the Gold Saucer, and they have quite a few new items from last I was there. One of them- Succubus Horns (no gender lock, Head Armor slot). And a new bunny set that I think covers a bit less than the first one. All of that is really expensive though (and only acquirable through MGP).

And after the end of the main Heavensward content, we add a new major player to the Scions of the Seventh Dawn: Minfilia's best friend, and fellow scholar, Krile. Yes, that name should sound familiar. Though this Krile is not a child, she's a Lalafell.

Whew... I got through quite a bit more than I thought I would before the FFXIV update.

Alexander: Gordias has been cleared.
Alexander: Midas has been cleared.

This means I can go straight to Alexander: Alexander when the update comes. Alexander (Savage) on the other hand... well, I don't even think I want to consider trying Gordias and Midas (Savage). And though the equipment is not as good as what is available right now, I'm definitely taking a shot at getting pieces of Gordian equipment of Fending. After all-

It's goddamn Alexander: The Armor. And then I just use the Glamour system, and whatever equipment I'm actually wearing suddenly becomes that in appearance.
Already have the Armet and the Gauntlets. Mostly just aiming for the Armet and Plate Armor.

I'll probably have to do quite a bit of runs of the new dungeons in the update, provided that the armor they drop is level 235-240. Because I don't think I'll be getting access to the Extreme version of the Sophia fight when it comes out using my current equipment (currently an average of 227). Really want to outfit myself with weapons from her though (assuming she drops weapons, like pretty much every extreme primal since Leviathan has). Especially wondering if the Shield she'd drop would have that giant female face on her scales of judgment as the design.

I'm still stuck on just before entering the Antitower since my item level average isn't high enough. Most of my equipment is i145 and my attempts to get ilevel 200 relics was derailed by the update and the Tomestone of Esoterics retirement. On the bright side now its much easier for me to get that item level 220 Primal Gear Set I've been lusting after though it will take longer because of the required Tomestones of Lore amount. Yesterday I slew Titan Extreme and Bismarck Extreme. My ilevel barely qualified for Bismarck so I can't do Ravana extreme. on the 29th I killed most of the other extreme Primals except for the Great King Moggle Mog the XII, Ifrit extreme, Ramuh Extreme, and Odin. I'm hoping to finish those 3 this weekend. I haven't actually done any raids in the game yet because I planned to do them when I reached a good stopping point. I figure now is a good one.

Well, unfortunately, the new dungeon gear won't help me much, they're level 225. On the bright side, the new tomestone gear (Shire) is level 260, 270 if you can augment it. Prototype Alexandrian gear is 250 (and also 270 if augmented), so if I can manage to get through the first Alexander (Creator) stage and win a lot on an Alexandrian bolt, I can get a 250 accessory for it.

Sophia was certainly an interesting fight. Had about two or three failures on my initial run of the normal difficulty. Unfortunately, my equipment level is still too low to learn/do the Extreme fight and get some 255 weapons from her. Interestingly enough, she's voiced in the fight against her. Her fight after the first phase becomes a lot like Leviathan- the walls are taken down, and she'll tip the platform and try to throw you off (instant death). I was hoping the Sophic Shield would have a design based off the giant face on her scales of judgment, but no, it's just an ornate tower shield (with kite shield stats; equal block damage/rate).

If you want to do hunts you can trade in centurio seals for the ilvl 170 doman gear and the materials to upgrade them to 180, which should help as far as getting into dungeons. Additionally the old esoteric gear should be acquirable now without spending tomestones. However your guess is as good a mine as to where.

Well I've been mistaken about something this whole time.
Prototype gear from the three phases of Alexander (Gordian, Midan, and Alexandrian) are not actually able to be upgraded, you can only obtain the true (dyeable) versions through the Savage versions of the raid.

That said, I've now beaten Alexander. Who can summon Alexander. Inside Alexander. So you can defend yourself against Alexander while fighting Alexander inside Alexander. Someone call Leonardo Dicaprio!

With the materials I was able to get (one per stage), I was able to trade them for an accessory and gauntlets. Halfway to helm. Seven weekly clears of Alexander Prime will get me access to a tradeable item which I can use to get the Shire Sword (260, upgradable to 270).

Still no progress on me getting through Sophia Extreme. Maybe with this next coming week, since I'll be saving up the new tomestone and have enough to get Shire Custodian's body armor, and hopefully some more Prototype Alexandrian gear (maybe I should be aiming for belt, helm, and boots, which should be feasible since I'm at 1/2 for helm [EDIT: Actually, no, there is no way to manage those three considering where they drop. Maybe I'll go for Belt, Helm, another Accessory, and wing it on Alexander Prime drops])

Man, farming for glamour items certainly doesn't feel glamorous. But I did it. I finally got all of the Prototype Gordian Armor of Fending pieces. Also pretty much got all the armor I could for this week. Only one real goal this weekend- take down Sophia (Extreme) and farm her until I can get a good sword & shield.

I've been getting somewhat bored again, even with my backlog of untouched or unfinished games. Even just started Xanadu Next (on Steam), hoping that it'll keep me interested despite its age (released in Japan over a decade ago, only just now getting here).

I'm taking some advice I saw elsewhere, not telling you guys what it is yet, but you'll all find out soon enough. It's time for me to spend some more money on myself (in ways that aren't video games).
