Just finished Hebijo chapter of Shinovi Versus, and am now allowed to move on to Crimson Squad. Finally able to play as Haruka.
Now... most of what I did through Hanzo and Hebijo was immediately go into Frantic mode (burst into lingerie, heavily increasing attack power/reducing defense). Not a good idea with Haruka. Her attack style is way different in that mode than in Uniform or Shinobi modes, in that she's throwing a lot of vials everywhere. However, even that has less attack effectiveness on large groups, because these vial tosses only hit one opponent per vial (I think she throws them out in threes?). I think they might have high status effect chances, but for going through the smallfry ninjas, better to stay in Uniform and pummel them with her puppet labcoat. Her DeathXKiss special is unfortunately just a projectile, but hey, kiss hearts of death.

More Land of No Night info, you control monsters in battles(apparently one is a devil girl) and main girl Arnath can transform into a demon and use her blood to make additional weapons.  Looks very action orientated gameplay. I am floored, it one thing to have a game where lesbians are the main focus, it's another for that game to look likes it plays awesome.

As for me, I beat Dawn of Soul, might consider doing it on hard since I won't have to soul hunt, though I probably will have to avoid the strategy I used on Death(which was Alura Une with Skeleton Farmer passive, 248 damage X 3 every second, it the most broken thing but I love it so much because it involves my beloved Alura Une). Started Julius mode, which I didn't really understand the first time I played it years ago, but now I'm enjoying it immensely, however... "YAY, I HAVE A WHIP! THIS IS SO MUCH FUN~" *after first boss* "Oh hey, it's Yoko, yay~!" *continues to play as her forever* I can't help it, I love Julius and the whip, but Yoko, she's a huge joy to play, sexy, and her backdash is a backflip that puts her twice as far away as anyone else and is attack cancelable. She's just such a awesome and powerful female character and I enjoy the idea of turning Julius mode into Yoko mode. Now just to figure out where Arikado is...

But yeah, hopefully I'll get some time to play Disgaea D2 tonight since I haven't been able to touch it since me and my buddy played it.

Konami is going to die soon. And I doubt I will be surprised to hear about Hayakawa taking his own life at some point. Kojima Productions, gone (Hopefully Kojima can at least keep the rights to Metal Gear and Zone of the Enders). Former Konami great Igarashi (though some have disputed his business practices) raising over 3 million on a planned 500k budget on a clone of one of their oldest series.

Hehehe, I saw that part on a playthrough, very nice. Also haunting veiled "brides" everywhere.

Playing more "Yoko Mode" in Dawn of Sorrow, god I love the amount of insane detail and care they put into her sprite(that's not to say Alucard's isn't a perfect remake form Symphony, down to the floating locks), but damn, when Yoko crouches they actually have a few frames dedicated to her pulling her miniskirt back down. It just astounds me at all the effort they went into for this optional mode.

Meanwhile, I'm not really seeing that care is Disgaea D2, sure they redid and HDed some of the sprites, but the gameplay and characters aren't as polished. Basically all the "villains" are slightly altered sprites of pre existing mobs(except for Barbara and Rainer, but they get mob variations of themselves)... And I know NIS loves their cute little archers, but having her be a story character with NO variation from basic archer drives me up the wall. I know they did this in some side stuff for the Vita games, but this is the main game. Then there's the weapon flickering and slowdowns in gameplay... problems that weren't there for the first 2 as far as I know. I just feels like it didn't get the time or respect it deserved... I wonder if this is before or after the main Disgaea team left NIS for Compile Hearts... Still, I really do enjoy some bits, Sicily, changing colors, playing as Laharl-chan for too short a time... but yeah, now I'm on chapter 5.

New Tales game announced, and a sexy female lead too. I mean I know Milla was a co-lead and pretty awesome(never played unfortunately), but it is kinda nice when you don't have to share the spotlight, aye?

That's short of what happened to me with Xilla news. "Oh wow, this is a awesome looking character, dood, she really seems like the main character!? Huh, who's this guy? Some medic... Oh wait... Oh shit he's getting more screen time, NOOOO", but all that was within a weekend. But yeah, I heard about the Zesteria issue not too long ago, and I was dumbfounded by it. Though from what I remember reading way way back it seemed like it was going to be about the dood and his "invisible pal who exchanged a lot of meaningful glances between each other", but I might of still of been bitter about Xillia and Xillia 2.

So... this just got leaked.


However, even I have to say the Wii U had enough trouble keeping the game running well, I cannot see this going well for 3DS.
But hey, they're pulling the toon-verse into the game now. No confirmation, but I'm wondering if you have to actually buy the 3DS version in order to play as the characters on Wii U.

Hey, only thing that's ever stopped me from playing it is a severed connection between my ISP and pso2.jp (which is why I now use a proxy whenever I play). It's f2p, and has translations for most of the text.

Also, I bought a few games today on Steam during those sales.

Ys series got a flash sale, so I picked up the most recent Steam release, Ark of Napishtim, at 50% off.
Neptunia got a Daily Deal, BOTH Rebirth1 and Rebirth2 at 70% off. That's right, I got both games, and all of their DLC, for $22.

At least it's not another FFXIII. But apparently there's still milk left in the FFVII cash cow, though. As for KH3...all I want is for Kairi to be alive by the end. If my expectations are low enough I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I do hope you all read the news articles saying that the voices for Master Xehanort & Ansem the Wise are dead.

All I can say about FFVII remake is-

1) Will we actually get non-emo Cloud portrayal?

Yikes, tough crowd. I mean it not like this was anyones first Final Fantasy, or their first interaction with charm girls, or one of this group's primary focuses with a lot of pics commissioned for it and stories written about it, or that this could spark that charm girl interest in many others...
