Rainday randomness/possible updates

I will admit the game is low or should I say void of team character development. It's closest to Dragon Quest/warrior three in that you choose a hero male or female and then hire your three other members who are just generic classes. That in a sense is a disappointment. However the world itself an the characters in that world there is story and development. It's like six or seven where everything seems unrelated at first and eventually there are plot points that connect everything. Oh and the hero his/her self have development.

Yeah the ads played up the character building and multi player aspects but really they are IMO extras. I don't have an online adapter for my DS so I could not play multi player or download the extra quests but it does not feel like I missed out on much. The only thing I wish I had was being able to fight the boss in the post game dungeon without downloading that.

So I can understand how you got that idea but it is a classic Dragon Quest game though and though. Really one thing I like about the series is how little it has changed in nine games. Even with the prettier graphics the later games still feel like old school RPGs.

Sadly 10 will change that but really I don't play MMOs so even i'm skipping it. Though like I said I would not have as much of a problem with Final Fantasy 11 and 14 if they were called Final fantasy Online. It would be like if they called Final Fantasy Tactics Final Fantasy 8. Yeah Dragon Quest Ten sounds like it will be just the same.

Really just felt called to it and decided to do a caption, next up, Terra and the Alurring Rider, hopefully tonight, but no promises.

Ok, the agenda for today is get 0-2 captions done. One of them will be the Alluring Rider X Trance Terra pic, and another one will be Melona quite possibly because I just really got in the mood to do something with her. Still aware that I need to do that Polite Society one and 3 droids one, but I want to get the one DoubleEdged made for me via request out of the way and my mind has been consumed by Melona... Not sure how I'll do the narrative setup, personally I'm thinking full villainess text for the both of them and no heroine replies(though it is the 4th of July so GOOD LUCK ON THAT SELF). Need to send off a note, and this weekend I'll put up a thread here for the 2chan threads(basically I'll be linking the ones off hypnochan and process because I do not feel like going through that hell every weekend). Now I need to start browsing all the image tags on pixiv of relevance...

Heroine's perspective, villainess's perspective, both, heroine's perspective, villainess perspective, both... UUUGGGH! On the one hand, getting to "play the victim" is always fun but less detail oriented, and I kinda used in with the GSD caption. On the other, the villainess allows you to play the "total seductive dominating villainess", describe in detail how everything works, and gives the reader the feeling of being the subject... I did both recently with the Astarte/Charlotte caption which provides nice back and forth but always turns out so long... But which way will this work best? I still only have a rough idea of where to take it, but hopefully once I start writing it will start to flourish... I was planning on villainess... But do I make her mean in a bitchy way or mean in a mocking but loving way... I should start a poll in the psychology section about this at some point... No, distraction... Play League? NO! Bigger distraction... Try to get Diablo III to work again NOOOOOOO!!!! ARE THY MAD! Okay, just going to go villainess, mocking but loving since that's my usual way... Now the other one I already got in my head, but I must do this one first while I have my zeal.

Been catching up on a lot of their stuff, watching their Downpour review on their private channel. I find their playthrus on that channel to be amazing because they know these games inside and out and the lore inside and out, so not only am I laughing, but I'm learning. Still, that freaking Metal Wolf Chaos on their regular channel... that was sickass. AMERICA! I haven't watched much of the nostalgia critic, but what I did watch I liked, or hated with a passion(he was hating it too) so yeah, that's a fun place.

I'm sorry dood, but I don't bullshit. I'm blunt and prefer the truth above all else. I'm generally nice and very pleasant, but I lack tact. It's kind of the side effect of aspergers disorder. Oh yeah, by the way, I was planning to post this in due time, but since the cat's out of the bag might as well be now(I've already hinted this with several people and a few post). I have aspergers/high functioning autism, which while it makes me very creative, it also makes me a paranoid wreck about almost everything, especially people. This is why I don't have many friends. I can't deal with people very well, and when I do make friends I tend to be very gingerly around them most of the time, but I will also become very blunt. The timing for me is difficult to judge since I simply don't get people for the most part.

So anyway~ I've been having a few nervous breakdowns for the past few months and have been seeing both a psychologist and psychiatrist to help me deal with this, as well as A) staying away from home(hence the general lack of uploads) and B) starting medication that may or may not agree with me, so that's been a blast. My psychologist's review of me was less than flattering, pointing out several flaws that I have noticed myself(((my intense desire for feedback and reinforcement, minor obsessiveness, constant uncertainty, pessimism, things like that). On the bright side, it did say I was highly intelligent in certain areas(patterns and vocal I think, but I can't recall)another flaw, bad short term memory and attention span). My psychiatrist believes that I have issues where I want to reach out to people, but I'm afraid of rejection to the point where I can accept the misery of loneliness(not in those exact words, but you know). So yeah, there's all that, combine that with the general stress of the day(bunch of little things that gnaw at me) and I can be a bit a of a bitch. Hell, posting all this shit here might make people even more afraid of dealing with me which would make me very sad, but hey, it was my choice to type all this up and hit send.

Now, like I said before, I'm sorry for stating my brash opinion in your thread. I can see how it can be too harsh but I also didn't want to leave you in limbo since we don't have many 3D modeling experts on this forum(with exception to DoubleEdged who does great work for me, but he only uses 3dcustom girls and is a nice and humble person, so I thought he might try to be nice by not saying anything, again, this can all be a misinterpretation on my part because I don't get people all that well).

I'm not taking this out on you either, it was something that I needed to talk about anyway and it just flowed out in this post. I think you are a nice person, and hey, we have the same general interest so we can all get along here, even me which is wonderful and why I strive so hard for this community. You made me see the interesting side of Dragon Quest IX and your story with Vilia and your own OC was quite interesting. I'm not calling you out or anything. I don't want you to feel ashamed or anything negative dood, I want you to be happy, I want all of us to enjoy ourselves. I'm sorry if my opinion upset you, but it was just my opinion. As for everyone else who bothered to read that, I don't want you to be afraid of me or look at my differently, I'm still the same Rainday/lurker3009/Allan that you've all known, this wasn't a sudden occurrence, I'll always been like this, since I was young, it just kinda boiled over recently. Sure, I am "different" and have a different view on things(which is where most of my creativity comes from, not saying you need aspergers to be a good writer of course, but it helps me I guess), but not in a way that I should be treated with pity, just understanding. Just be how you always been around me, or hell, if you're a lurker, feel free to interact with me(via PM is necessarily or email), like I said, I'm generally a very nice guy. I respect your honesty Lurker, really I needed it. I feel like I might be trying to do something way beyond my abilities. I'm not going to give up but I feel that maybe I shown my work way to soon. I don't want to be working on something for months and for the end result to be pure crap making it a worthless endeaver. That was why I wanted advice so early on. So I thank you for it.

Anyway your not alone I have generalized anxiety disorder and social phobia, kind of mundane compared to what you have. It leaves me with a very low opinion of myself and an inability to interact with people in the outside world. Hell I don't even interact with too many people online. It has left me with a very fragile ego. I see someone once every two weeks, I have medication and I'm lucky as I don't suffer many side effects from medication, all it does is alter my sleeping patterns a little.

I spent ten years on a computer graphics degree at school, using programs like illustrator, photoshop, and 3D Graphic programs and I really wanted to be an animator. Sadly I can't draw by hand at all. Now I have this degree and my anxiety is keeping me from using it. That and I feel I'm pretty mediocre all things considered.

I'm thinking for now I will put my models on hold and just focus on the writing. while trying to improve them. I should not let that side project which might not work take up too much of my time.

Oh and I respect your blunt opinion might be a bit harsh but people need that. It's actually opinions like that which can help people improve we need more honesty on that level.

If you have read my stories mainly my recent ones and have harsh opinions and ways I can improve them sent me a message. I know my editing sucks so my stories probably have countless mistakes, and my grammar sucks too. Hell my spelling would suck if not for the glorious invention of spell check.

as for the low opinion of yourself we all suffer those moments. I feel the same way about most of my work most of the time especially when comparing it with story's you guys made already.

i mean i love my original version of the atsugessho story but damn after doing a side by side with lurkers redo and rico's I was like dang my version sucked but it won't stop me from trying, they just helped it to a higher level and gave me guidelines for the future stuff i might write.

Oh I know that. It's more that maybe I was moving to fast. That I should go slower. I'm not going to give up more that I'm going to wait until my skills are improved. Trying to recreate a character in CG is much harder then making an original creation and I have learned that. For now I will focus on other things while improving my skills.

I had a really busy day, a happy one with the Sailor Moon announcement, livecast for with my favorite youtube personalities, and having a nice dinner, but still busy... I was up last night from a stomach ache... Also, holy crap it's nearly one... I have lost all concept of time. Okay, first off, thank you all for supporting me in this somewhat difficult time for me and being cool about it. Thank you Creativerealms for being cool about this, I know that I may be too blunt at times, but it's one of those things, cause I'm the same way(very low self esteem hence the constant need for "praise and reinforcement"), and hate it, so when I see others doing it, it touches home, and I choose to be tuff because I'm nice all the time basically and sometimes when I just boil over. Also I'm very glad that I can help in this group Rico, and hope to continue support it.

1) I may actually end up uploading some awesome relevant pics because I'm probably going to be over here for another week
2) Melona pic is getting pushed back because of awesome live-stream, there is gonna be another one tomorrow too, and I might go see a movie as well with my one real life friend.

4) At some point, I need to help the gaming section, hopefully FF7 since I know of all the females who use charm attacks in it(Jemnezmy, Snow, Jemnezmy, and Elena, though I will check with the official wiki, and for the life of me I swear I remember these girls using their charm on females! My party was Cloud, Yuffie and Tifa, and I would always kill Cloud off first before they would use something just in case, I swear, it eventually happened with one of the 3 sisters, I SWEAR! It wasn't that rare but every source just say "nope it's only males bros" to which I reply "bullshit you ain't trying hard enough, f you too for only having guys in your party anyway" Damn what the site says, she does use it on females, I remember very well of this, it's what sparked my fetish)... That just sounded like an insane rant, but it wasn't! It was the truth! <_< >_>

So yeaaah, we'll see how things go. I'm gonna try to watch more of this hilarious stream and hopefully I'll get a good match in League even though I probably be asleep, but as long as Jesse Cox and his hilariousness is awake, so shall I be.
