So rage filled about that... They look like some horrible pastel illustration with sticks that were too big.  I mean, I guess it's okay for the face portraits since they had some room to work with, though they did go with Amano's illustrations. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Terra_Branford  But it feels like all the personality has been ripped away from the field sprites.

Well...  the monster girl sprites in FF5 were good, so there is hope...

Well, you can wait until FF wikia updates lol.  Though it looks like the FF5 monster list was just updated 15 days ago, and it's a rough update with background.

Hell, now that my memory about them has been straightened up, isn't the first of the ladies you can find in Owzer's Mansion (World of Ruin)? That's half the damn game. >_>

You know, I was just looking at the wiki entry for Misty.

Her blind attack? It's called Eyeshadow in the GBA version.
So... she puts makeup on her target.

Well...  Isn't that nice treatment for one of the best FFs...  They don't care enough to have it tested... and the character sprite art...  Square-Enix makes me so very sad nowadays...

It really is a shame that there are so many reasons to say no to this.

But the fact that they kept typos in from the GBA version is laziness...  Also looks like they'll be going with the GBA's censor standards judging on Siren http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Siren_(Summon) , which is a good balance I suppose.  However, there is no run buttons, but I'm hearing the controls wouldn't lend themselves well to that(i.e. controls poorly according to this review https://imgur.com/a/m0iag )  There's also achievements...  I checked FF5's, and there wasn't much that looked interesting except

 But yeah, nothing subject mattery...  So I doubt FF6 will have something like "Goddess's worshiper-Got charmed by the Goddess"

Also, they fixed the Leo bug only to wind up with a bug on the floating continent...

I'm pretty sure the Floating Continent thing was someone's run of bad luck. People have gotten to World of Ruin at this point.

That Siren image (despite having those animations covering her up) give me hope for the rest of the enemy/boss designs for the World of Ruin part of the story. Maybe no detailed faces, but definitely not something limited by pixels.

Well, I'll be awaiting screenshots, shouldn't be too long in that case.

Also, she does have the more piercing eyes, hehehe.

Well, it's still full of lots of glitches, but people have reported finishing the game.

Now we just need to get people who like to rip images for the bestiary.

Well, I still haven't seen images pop up... so I went to YouTube, and yes, they have some videos now. I looked up an Owzer's Mansion video.

Unfortunately, the best I can say is... it's not so 32-bit pixelated anymore. But there's no real added details to their design. They're still just as faceless as the old version. No sultry makeup, no devious smirk, no detail hinting at hosiery on the exposed leg.

It's okay, thanks for keeping track of this.  Oh, this vid also has Chardarnook(13:57).  Well, the painting is easier to make out, though I kinda wish they went through the effort of recoloring her chair so it doesn't match the demons wraps.

I guess the next big parts to look for is Cyan's dream(Charming Rider), and then the actual Goddess at Kefka's Tower
