Original Fiction?

Is there a place on this site for original fiction, or is it strictly fanfics? I'm thinking about writing a story based on a dream I had two days ago, but the closest thread I could find to post it in was the Ideas/Musings/Fic Request thread.

Though I would not recommend writing it on the forum, but rather just using some form of Word, if only because the internet has a tendency of eating long typed things(weather it be email or forum) and uploading it to the group. However, if you just want to do something here, feel free, but I would still recommend typing it up in word and then pasting it to the forum.

Okay, thanks. Also, I agree with you on not writing it directly on the forum. Back in December, I was writing a fanfic and I only had it saved to my hard drive. Well, my hard drive died, and I lost that chapter. What valuable lesson did I learn from that? Save your work on various formats.
