Parasite Eve (F/F EC MC)

Ok, for those that know the game, I'm going to clear something up about the "normal" ending, for those of you who don't know anything about this game... Hmmmm... Let's see if I can explain this.  Oh yeah, SUPER SPOILERS AHEAD!

Where the hell do I begin...  Okay, so this game is set in New York and takes place between Christmas and New Years Eve, and involve mitochondria(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondrion).  Mitochondria is effectively a symbiotic parasite that lives within human and other animal's cells and supplies us with the energy we need to function.  The plot of this game is basically that mitochondria have begun to rebel, controlled by a super mitochondria being known only as Eve.  Eve has lied dormant in Melissa, a aspiring opera singer who had a liver transplant when she was young from the previous "Mitochondrial Eve".  She kept pushing herself to be the lead role of this play, eventually enough for her body to succumb to Eve.


So that's 1 for possession.

Next we have Aya Brea, a New York detective enjoying a free night at the opera(thanks to a "date" she has no interest in), sexy dress and all.  She's a no nonsense beauty and work is her life.  This is where the story of Aya and Eve begin.



Eve, now in control of Melissa sings the opera song that will play whenever you encounter her.  This causes everyone around, except for Aya, to spontaneously combust into flames(1:03-2:20). Also, yes, there is a lot of yuri undercurrents in this game between Aya and Eve(the stare at the beginning, Aya feeling hot around Eve, Eve for the most part just playing with her), hence why I love this game so much, and Tetsuya Nomura designs at their finest (

Then we have Melissa's full transformation into Eve (3:00-3:15), and from there it's pretty much a cat and mouse game, the mouse hunting the cat, the cat doing her own thing in order to create the "ultimate being" that will turn humans into the slaves/host for their mitochondria masters, and Eve in control of everything.


Through her first fight with Eve, Aya awakens to her own mitochondria powers.  Why's that? Well she also had a organ transplant from the last mitochondrial Eve like Melissa(while Melissa got her liver, Aya got her eye).  Through the game she even gains the ability to "Liberate" her mitochondria, temporarily transforming herself into a super mitochondrial being like Eve to unleash a huge burst of power.  However, this power becomes her undoing.


At the end of the game, after Aya has "dealt with" Eve's final form...


... and killed the "Ultimate Being"(there's a point to these quotations I swear), she celebrates by going to finish watching that play that started the whole thing(19:00-end).  However, as the song plays, the mitochondrial parasites within her awaken from their dormant state, for now she is the ultimate being, she is Parasite Eve(EC), and we see her influence course through everyone there.  That is the legit ending you get playing it the first time.


Now, on the surface, it's a very vague ending, but if you play New Game+ and go through the Chrysler building you find out the truth from a part of Eve that was left behind as a precaution, incase the ultimate being failed, Truebred Eve, Eve in her purest form, who is a parasite of your twin sister, Maya.



Aya got the eye transplant from Maya, who died in a car crash with their mother.  She was the one with Eve within her, and when Dr. Klamp(think Hojo and Jenova as the game was a prototype for both FF7 and FF8) found this out, he harvested her liver and gave it to a young Melissa.  When Aya and Truebred Eve encounter, they have a very revealing conversation (4:47-8:05 v)

After that, Purebred Eve transforms into her liberated state, which looks just like Aya's, but they are twin sisters so it makes sense.  The only difference is, Eve can remain in that state, and she can mind control a ghostly Maya to hold you down for her big attacks(8:30-8:36).  But it doesn't end there!  This is where it all clicks! (13:00-14:25)
Now Aya is the strongest Mitochondrial being and an ideal host for Eve, the era of mitochondrial domination has come, and Aya will be it's first victim!

Two isn't that bad. tries to hard to be Resident Evil but it's not terrible. I agree with skipping third birthday though.

Eve is part of the reason I started liking this sort of thing.

I enjoyed both the first and the second one  , in fact I like the second one a bit more , I was also planing on doing a topic for first game but I am very glad that you did it instead , it save's me from the trouble of explaining the plot

Most of my dislike for the second one lies on the fact that she gets a boyfriend, while my dislike for 3rd birthday continues that trend with the marriage opening, the bait and switch, and the way "Aya" is portrayed.

Also, yes, the big roadblock in starting this was explaining the plot, which I hope I did a well enough job... And I provided multiple pics just because I love the artwork so much.

Nomura does have some outstanding artwork when it's not BELTS AND ZIPPERS AND BELTS AND ZIPPERS AND BELTS AND ZIPPERS.

Hell, I really liked what he did for the FFXI crew on one special anniversary-

To be fair, he went overboard with belts for Lulu's design and that came out sexy to me. They offer just enough small glimpses to be sexy, and if they were all tighten it would for a sexy bit of bondage.


... I now want to design a villainess/monstergirl binds heroines with belts/leather straps... Strapping them to her in compromising positions, or strapping them together in a 69 position...
