This has not been a subject that I've been looking forward to discussing, but I'm going to try my best to convey this subject, and inform you of the actions and safety measures to ensure that very little is actually lost in this process, most importantly, your works.

So, the forum is being shutdown by the provider(forumotion) due to "Sexual content and/or porn content" in 4 days. The reason for this is a former disgruntle member chose to report the forum twice in a petty attempt to get back at me for banning him for a number of reasons(#1 Hopping on my thread, disrespecting the forum and RB9, then asking where he could find a better place, #2 Being more of a condescending jerk after the first ban to the point that I decided to permanently ban him, #3 Causing problems on the yahoo group in the past because of his superiority complex, #4 creating a number of spam accounts to circumnavigate the ban etc... etc... etc). Anyway, I'd rather not dwell on him and neither should you as he is dead set on believing that he was right in the matter, and no amount of talking could/will convince him otherwise(believe me, it's fruitless endeavor . He's been dealt with a permanent ban from the yahoo groups and last days of the forum.

Back to the main issue, our forum was reviewed and is now facing deletion unless such content is removed. Now, while porn was a little bit of a risk for this site, however sexual content was not mentioned in the rule area(see here if you want to https://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/terms-of-service.htm ), and seeing how this is a fetish forum... you can see the position we are in. In order for this forum to stay open we would have to delete a great many things and have the remaining few reviewed by someone to judge it's sexuality... which frankly wouldn't be worth it at that point. So unfortunately we are just going to have to delete the forum before that comes to pass.

So, that's the bad news.

The good news is that I am in the process of backing up every story, fic, pic, and sighting on this forum(making sure to label them with their contributor and everything). In fact, I have been for the past few days, devoting a majority of my free time to make sure nothing of value will be lost in this incident. I've already backed up nearly all the Sightings, all VIP pics, and am starting on stories and such in the completed missions. You have my word that if you posted content here, I'll have a copy of it for you. I'll be done with plenty of time, on that you can bet. These will be reuploaded to a new forum once we find a more lenient host for a new forum(which might take a bit so please be patient). However, fret not, in the meantime I'll upload all Sighting to the first RB9 yahoo group( http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/ricobanderas9/info ) in word documents for the time being, so you can browse through them even after the forum is gone. I'll also be uploading all free Samples pics from the forum to the group as well.

Now, members who have earned points up to this point will be rewarded in some fashion and their points and IDs will be saved to a list for when we find a new place, so nothing will be for naught. Members who got into VIP galleries will be compensated with benefits in the Yahoo Groups. Likewise they can submit their exclusive stories or pics to VIP1/2/3(like I said, I'll have a copy, so if the forum goes down and you don't have a backup, I will). RB9 will be handling a majority of this and ironing out the details since he's in charge of points, and he'll post the details when he has the chance.

Now, as for the forum VIP galleries, we will possibly release some pics in VIP groups, but they will return in full force when the forum is set up again at a later date. How we plan on doing this is a matter up to Rico since he commissioned them, but rest assured we will try to make it benefit all parties as we want to ensure continued creative drives.

I must sincerely apologize for this grievous inconvenience to all of you(except to the banned member of course). I know this place has been fun and good to a lot of you, and has been a nice place to hold general to off topic discussions. We'll be looking for a new place where such a thing won't take place again, but in the meantime we'll be updating the yahoo group more to compensate slightly. Some of the things that I personally plan to do are updating the group FAQ, greeting email, banners, trying to crank out some more captions, and of course uploading a lot more pics.

And while this forums days are numbered(literally), do not despair for it will rise again like a phoenix, harder, better, faster, stronger,(*cough* https://youtu.be/gAjR4_CbPpQ *cough*). In the meantime, browse to your liking and feel free to post anything you care to. I will state that no new members may join at this point because it was a action I took after the banned member continued to create spamming accounts, and I don't want the last days of the forum to be filled with him bickering at me.

Well, that's a bad news indeed. A kid will always a kid there, or only his body grow but his mind and d*ck is still a kid :p

Just inform us where we will be continuing the forum and i'm good. It is very fun having a site like this. The kid just doesn't understand the difference about personal issue and global issue.

Could you give an example of a normal website for me, because I can only think of formats like forums, blogs, galleries, chans, boorus, and databases.

Yahoo groups doesn't work well as a communications center exactly. It's good for sending out notices, but not for discussing things like stories, art, or scenes openly. That's something the forum did really well, allowing you to post scenes, stories, art, and provide feedback with further post or view counts. Yahoo also has the habit of sending emails for each post, which might annoy people. I do appreciate your concern though and ultimately all future site choices are left up to Rico.

Also, to other members, while I am backing up things, I will not be backing up anything by the banned member, or a majority of stuff in the General to Off Topic section. However, I probably will end up backing up Ideas/Mussings/fic request section.

Also, while I will be sad to see this go, especially with everyone losing a effective and easy means to publicly communicate, and all the work I've put into it, I'm looking forward to the future. One where one person can't ruin things for everybody. But yeah, don't lose heart, we'll be taking our time and getting a site/forum that will feel just right for everyone. Rico is very enthused over the aspect.

Let's see, that either D-fan, DoubleEdged, and DrgnMasterAlex and rest assured I will be combing everything.

Also I'm just going to state this flat out, I will be trying to copy everything of value. You should know what that means. If it's a sighting I will copy the whole sighting post along with any follow up post that A) discuss and reveal more info about the sighting or B) Elaborates on the sighting and proposes their own twist. For stories, it will be the the story and any addition/ideas for the future. So basically I won't be coping over any praise. I'm sorry about this, but doing that drains more time and taxes me further(again, it's pretty much me who's doing this). I hope the praise you received was memorable enough and know that even if you have 0 post on your thread you at the very least have my heartfelt thanks for taking the time and effort to post this.

Additionally any sightings in the Completed Missions section will be moved to the respective sightings document to be available for others. You're not losing points for this of course, and I would never move any of your works(pics or stories) over there, it's just stuff that you find would be better put there so other people can know. I hope I explained that well enough. Some examples would be if you found a artist's gallery, a interesting site, or a series of interesting pics. Such things would of still been awarded points if posted there in the first place, so it's more me organizing things.

Addition, the poster of the "sightings" type material in VIP(such as H games) can reserve the right for that content to be made available to the general public via email. The reason for this is that if certain links were made available to the general public there is a strong chance of leaking and that link could end up being taken down.
Yeah, this is all I'm gonna ask, if people actually find a yuri h game, just post some info in sightings. You can keep your links to files in vip since you are hosting them which will probably be for the best.

Some people, what can you do? Some people can hold grudges and would ruin things for everyone just because they are bad at one person. It sucks that it had to happen here.

Ah I see. That's a template you don't see much if at all these days. Most everything has switched over to a forum and/or gallery setup because it's easier to maintain and use. Also, if memory serves the only way to create such exclusive areas would require a password system, which is also outdated because it can be leaked. I'm sorry for getting back so late to you, I was a little busy yesterday =)

Okay, I backed up nearly everything... and I am rather spent because of it... I'm gonna finish up by uploading stuff to the yahoo group... And then I will rest because I've devoted the past 9 nights to this endeavor... You have 22 hours left on this forum, after that the forum will randomly self destruct sometime within the next 24 hours(I.E. when Rico deletes it or I start deleting everything manually).

*sigh*... I will mourn this loss of communication with all of you, temporary though it may be. But please, enjoy Saturday, and know that a new dawn will rise.

But man do I need a rest...

I'll see about getting a certain pic released to the group, but that's all I can really think of. Agains sorry for this, but look forward to the future.

Please don't feel sorry for us, you and Rico have done much and great! Just because one moron won't make us to turn on both of u. You are a very dependable and responsible admin.
