MGQ is getting a 3D version made.

I found this last night, but it turns out that someone launched and funded a kickstarter for a game project that turned out to be Monster Girl Quest, but with 3D models.

I don't know if that was mentioned before, but I did a search and didn't find anything. I think this will be very cool. As much as I loved MGQ, I was always just a little bummed out it was still shots the whole time.

...  Is this even legal for them to do?

Actually yes. On the Kickstarter it was stated that contact was made with the original developers and permission was given.

I see, a very interesting collaboration then.

But they already did. It was funded back in April. If Kickstarter has a restriction like that, I don't think the admins were aware of the projects details back then. But at this point its too late, project funded, money transferred.

They probably got around it by using the pornless version as a front.

Btw, out of curiosity, do I get points for finding this? If "no" no big deal.

There is a Kickstarter-like specifically for porn projects out there, I forget the details or site but it does exist. You might be able to use that?
