Sorry for the off site question, but I though that some one here might have more info. I haven't been able to get that site to load is anyone else having this problem? thanks for any info.

There's actually already a topic for this, and if I could remember how to merge threads I would do it. But yeah, same problem for the last few days. Pity... Pity... Pity... Wonder what's up this time.

Maybe someone filed a claim or something, through they did set up a do not post list regarding certain types of MP3s and other materals.

I just hope its maintenance or a payment issue that will be fixed soon.

They've been good about taking down content per request so I doubt it was a content issue, unless someone was being a giant douche about the whole thing.

My worry is it may have been about that recent post which lead to a ridiculously illegal underage site, which wasn't taken down nearly fast enough.

No, apparently someone is being a giant douche about it, because if yall head over to #hypnochan on irc.rizon you'll see that their MOTD is letting us all know that Hypnochan has been taken down due to multiple DMCA notices. (also says they (writers of MOTD/maintainers of HC IRC) don't know anything else.) I don't normally sign on there so I haven't talked to anybody, so I don't know what the hell the deal is. /req got killed, /irl and /self are tightly regulated, there's a blacklist, stuff has been getting taken down by request... If it was an issue with that link you're talking about I wouldn't have a problem, because that shit is serious, but it would seem that that's not the issue. I just can't believe that a pretty small niche website (just checked statscrop which says it gets ~600 unique visitors a day, which is a lot more than I thought, but still small,) which is full of somewhat legally dubious fetish material, gets pulled for copyright. Almost certainly IRL copyright stuff no less, I seriously doubt the JP doujin porn community suddenly decided to get together with the US government to prosecute tiny hobby websites.

It's not like we're be back to the days of bottomfeeding on /d, anonib, and individual artists' dAs and webpages, since we have Hypnobooru, #hypnochan, and here now, but I would fear that forums and boorus can't attract as much anon participation as a chan.
e: yes, Hypnochan is completely deleted. Some anons are apparently discussing making a new one. I don't know if Taz will be involved. There's a bit more conversation going on at Hypnobooru's forum, so I'd recommend checking out that and IRC if you want to be on top of stuff right now. Hate to be the bearer of bad news guys

That's really disappointing. I don't really have more to say than that. I hope we get it back sometime and that it doesn't hinder us here, Booru or any of the other places content can be found.

Hmm, regrettable. I do have back-ups of the more appealing stuff that I found... I hope I have that comic of Sabrina using Melody to brainwash all the Pokemon girls somewhere, because it's not up on g.e-hentai(neither is that long sought after recalled Ikkitousen comic with Kaku Bunwa as the mistress, except for the crappy censored lowres version). Still, it's always a pity to lose a image site, because most of those images are lost with it, forever, never to be enjoyed and inspire future generations.

That blows chunks, I really hate how copyright is being abused to this end. More so after Hypnochans staff made a great many compromises to keep people happy, such as the blacklist, shutting requests down, bringing tight regulation of content in and yet these people had to be douchebags anyway.

I still remember one time Henshin-San wrote an awesome why you suck speech about these types when some greedy MP3 seller showed up making threats to people. Henshin was awesome, pity he went underground again~
